Some lived in group homes, I got some friends who got snatched up by CPS, and lived horrible lives with the adoptive family.

On the outside they looked like good parents but they abused my friend and her brother. CPS believed the parents of course and labelled the kids to be sufferers of PTS and didnt take their claims serious.

That sucks. My cousin put her adoptive parent through hell for 6 years, but that lady made sure she made it to college. My cousin is productive now, with a husband and kids.

But I do know other foster homes where the adoptive parent was overwhelmed, and much too old to be handling teenagers.

I know other group homes where the owners kept those kids well disciplined, and you can tell the kids respected them.

It's crazy. Girls be getting raped with these new adoptive families. There was this case where the man and his wife adopted a 13 year old girl just to raise her to be a sex slave and prostitute.
