I'd say Magic but Bron's #2 in versatility.

Low key Barkley's up there on the list, bein a 20/10/5 guy is nothing to scoff at

I hope people really appreciate what they're seeing.....

All Day every Day Kobe/MJ better ballers than Bron..... cause the end game is to put the ball in the basket...

But All Day every Day, its easier to build a championship team around Bron than either of those guys....and that's a testament to a greatness that we under appreciate.... especially for a Wing/Guard type player....

He's better than Mj or Kobe. He does a lot more. He can play PG like a PG. He can score. He can play great defense. Rebound. Make his teammates much better and make it easier. He's like Magic Johnson but much better.
Idk about him being better than MJ or building a team around him over MJ tho

Mavs fan so I'm glad he choked in 2011...:russ:

Being real though, how can you as a black sports fan hate on Bron? Married his black BM, got black kids, never been arrested iin the new for doing stupid shyt, articulate and makes bums better. :mjcry:Raised a milly for the Girls and Boys club just for the "decision" but got hate for it. Making JR Smith/Kyrie/Shump play to their potential....on some Kai/Mystic Gohan shyt. :wow:

Dude is already top 10...wish he was more killer in closing games for his career, but still....top 10. :banderas:

I recognize that he'll go down as a top 5 player all time when it's all said & done, but watching him play against my favorite teams, he never struck fear in me like MJ or Kobe.

Personally, I have MJ & Kobe ahead of him.Bron's phenomenal, tho

MJ post game wasn't better nor is it close to Lebron's at this stage of James career compared to MJ's prime of his. Lebron can post up 1-4. MJ couldn't. Saying MJ posting up guards better is fine except Lebron can post up 1-4. That makes a massive difference in terms of defensive scheme for a coach.

Mid range is a lot harder due to zone defenses and in today's NBA. Saying otherwise is stupid. I can post videos to show you why it is so much easier to shoot mid range shots in the 80's and 90's than today. The three point basket is far more important in today's NBA.

Throw out anomalies my friends. 20% is not equal to his previous 3pt performances in previous playoffs. It's an anomaly.

MJ is not close to as good a defender as James. James covers a lot more ground and is a defensive anchor in terms of communication. MJ was never that. He was a great team defender and can situation be a dominate man defender but Lebron is all of those things and he's a defensive anchor. Throwing out numbers like blocks and steals is pointless when defensive impact is really the point of reference. That's how you dictate who is a great perimeter defender. Hell, Lebron is also a good post defender and can defend PF's to good success.

Triple doubles are indicative of all around game. Impact is. I seen Jordan Crawford get triple doubles with high ball usage and rebounding. Lebron creates for his teammates, he makes the right decision passing the ball, he doesn't have this scorers mentality like MJ and Kobe. He's more of a PG with the ability to score. Saying MJ has the all around game on Lebron is a misnomer. He doesn't. MJ's triple doubles are more like :youngsabo:. Of course, MJ is better and no one is saying otherwise but the type of triple doubles he has is similar where he is more of a scorer mentality type.

huh? If this ain't a hyperbole, I don't know what is.

That's the issue with Lebron in discussions. A lot of ya'll don't like how he does his business. MJ was smooth. MJ was like a swan. Bron is more like a Mack Truck. At the end of the day, it's never going to be about reality, it's will always be emotionally driven.

i'll take the guy who won DPOY :smugdraper:

So in the course of your reply, we've wrote off steals, blocks, and triple doubles all in the name of "naw that don't mean nothing....you just like the way MJ looked doing it", huh? Bron can post 1-4.....yet Rondo is famous for guarding Bron 30 feet from the basket and Bron hoisting jumper after jumper. JJ Barrera got a nice contract outta that Finals when Carlisle had the nuts to run him and Terry at Bron which led to him avg less than 2 points in the 4th qtr of that series. Bron is such a great defender that Khawi "They don't even run plays for me" Leonard junkyard dogged his way to a virtual stalemate and MVP honors on Bron watch. I'm not hating on Bron, but his skill set flawed. His only advantage is that he's a "mack truck". I suggest you watch some more Jordan footage. There are damn near 20 min videos dedicated to his post moves alone. Step thru, over left shoulder, right shoulder, head fakes, fadeaways, etc....however you want it, you can get it. And yes, every position from 1-4 make cameos in them too.

So Lebron has made the finals 6 times in 12 seasons...and that's a bad thing?

Is losing a 3-1 lead to get beat by Steve Nash a better showing than getting beat in the Finals or something?
Jerry West went 9 times in 14 seasons. So you're saying Lebron is barely better than Logo.

AI is better than Magic because the goal is to put the ball in the basket?

Jordan is one of the best all around players ever and Lebron isn't better than him. Lebron is more consistent and dominant player than Kobe but Kobe is more versatile and explosive scorer.

But in a 5-on-5 game, Lebron just has a bigger impact on the game. Dude can take over a game even if his shot off. Teams literally play him to stop him from abusing them in the paint and he still gets those buckets.

If you told someone that Lebron could lead a team with Delledova, Shumpert, JR Smith, Tristan Thompson, and Mozgov plus an injured Kyrie past a 60 win Team...even I'd be kinda hesitant.
It's just too bad the finals aren't 5 on 5 or Bron would be undefeated.
