MJ post game wasn't better nor is it close to Lebron's at this stage of James career compared to MJ's prime of his. Lebron can post up 1-4. MJ couldn't. Saying MJ posting up guards better is fine except Lebron can post up 1-4. That makes a massive difference in terms of defensive scheme for a coach.
Mid range is a lot harder due to zone defenses and in today's NBA. Saying otherwise is stupid. I can post videos to show you why it is so much easier to shoot mid range shots in the 80's and 90's than today. The three point basket is far more important in today's NBA.
Throw out anomalies my friends. 20% is not equal to his previous 3pt performances in previous playoffs. It's an anomaly.
MJ is not close to as good a defender as James. James covers a lot more ground and is a defensive anchor in terms of communication. MJ was never that. He was a great team defender and can situation be a dominate man defender but Lebron is all of those things and he's a defensive anchor. Throwing out numbers like blocks and steals is pointless when defensive impact is really the point of reference. That's how you dictate who is a great perimeter defender. Hell, Lebron is also a good post defender and can defend PF's to good success.
Triple doubles are indicative of all around game. Impact is. I seen Jordan Crawford get triple doubles with high ball usage and rebounding. Lebron creates for his teammates, he makes the right decision passing the ball, he doesn't have this scorers mentality like MJ and Kobe. He's more of a PG with the ability to score. Saying MJ has the all around game on Lebron is a misnomer. He doesn't. MJ's triple doubles are more like

. Of course, MJ is better and no one is saying otherwise but the type of triple doubles he has is similar where he is more of a scorer mentality type.
huh? If this ain't a hyperbole, I don't know what is.
That's the issue with Lebron in discussions. A lot of ya'll don't like how he does his business. MJ was smooth. MJ was like a swan. Bron is more like a Mack Truck. At the end of the day, it's never going to be about reality, it's will always be emotionally driven.
