They're the same height
and playing the NBA is a whole other beast, compared to college...
ahem. try again. Lavine meaured 6'5" in shoes while Brown was 6'3".
Lakers really need to take this guy in the Draft
I've been saying that if Vonleh is off the board, I'd take this dude #7 over someone like Randle/Gordon/Smart if they are availble.
my top 10 prospects in this draft:

handles and jumpshot. Green did have that. this dude does. LaVine just needs to add some strength and he should be a star. It'll be freaking hard for him to bust with the tools he's got. 6'5", lightining quick, agile, can jump out the building, solid handle, and sweet jump shot. Unless there are some personal issues we don't know about, we might be looking back 5 years from now and saying how did he not go top 3.

Ginobili and Odom ain't got no right hand and they've been able to do well in the league going left all the time. He's 18/19 years old. Give the kid some time. Right now he's got the tools you want. He's not gonna be great right away. All young kids (unless named LeBron James) need 2-3 years to develop.

Based off his height and athleticism, he kind of reminds me of Shaun Livingston going into the '04 draft. Only difference is Lavine's jumper is much better than Livingston's.
Kobe could turn this young nikka into a scourge in the NBA....

He's going to need to gain weight big time, he had a lot of trouble finishing at the rim in college because he couldn't absorb contact.
