No homo, but a few years ago I used to be pretty brolic--six pack, low body fat %, large biceps--but I quit working out because I was getting more compliments from men than women


I think the problem was although I looked good, I didn't have any money at the time and I was still hesitant to approach women.

My Asian female friend kind of admits to it, but frequently oscillates between allegedly liking nice guys yet falling for a$$holes. She has even told me to try to make myself available for women during the first week or so of knowing them, but then act as if you're busy and only accept 1 of every two of her phone calls after the initial week. She really emphasizes using a balance of a$$hole and a seemingly empathic nice guy who says shyt like "Oh baby, it will be okay" when the woman complains about having a bad day. I think you're right though--most women really do enjoy an a$$hole.

I try being an a$$hole, but I'm probably not playful enough and just come across as abrasive, bitter, and strange.
