This little ungrateful piece of shyt not only takes up priceless space at a science fair thousands of kids wish they could have been recognized for, goes to the white house, meets the president, then when the president asks him about science gives the most cavalier and dismissive response imbued with the most vicious sarcasm possible.
fukk that little a$$hole and I'm glad Obama cut him down to size.
He needed a reality cheque and it doesn't matter how it ever comes forth.
so the kid not wanting a career in science at that age means that he's not grateful and that he was being dismissive/sarcastic? I just thought he was trying to look cool in front of a crowd, which a lot of 8th graders are always trying to do. He may have even been nervous to be in front of someone so important/who he sees on TV all the time. That doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the opportunity to go to the White House and meet the president.Kid is 8th grade. Do you know how much a kid's interests can change between 8th grade and 10th/11th? Basketball is what he's interested in now, but he may not end up in science or basketball. He might have an interesting teacher or life experience that completely changes his interests .I'm not mad at Obama for encouraging him to stay in school instead of focusing on basketball, but he didn't have to be a prick about it either; probably embarrassed the kid

guess we disagree. I agree that the president should be respected, but I just didn't see the kid as being disrespectful or as lacking respect.
"Might want to focus on passing the 8th grade first, Mike. You know you struggle with reading"
"They hang nikkas in the south Mike. How about you go to Brooklyn Community College"
"The way you be dribbling you might not make it to the NIT, Mike"
"nikka the NBA won't be around in ten years. ABA taking over"
"Gonna need to work on your hand eye coordination Michael, you know you clumsy. I suppose you gonna fly after that huh? Just kidding, only birds can do that."

, light skinned breh has no choice but to make to the nba
