While folks are saying LeBron is done at 31, Kobe was looking like his prime self in 2010 when he beat a team with 3 Hall of Famers and 4 all-stars with just Pau Gasol as his help. :wow:

PS: Kobe was actually 4 months older than LeBron is right now when he played in the 2010 NBA finals.

The refs beat the Celtics in game 7 so.... :manny:

Exactly.

And for all the grief Kobe got for shooting 25% in game 7. nikkas won't look up everyone else's FG% that game.

Everyone shot bad that night in game 7. It was a low scoring bad shooting defensive battle.

And Kobe came out on top once again.

Not to mention an epic rebounding night and clutch plays down the stretch.

This warriors team would get demolished by 3-4 teams from each of those years.

We are right now living through the worst era in nba history.

Worst era?

The second best team in the west in 09 and in 10' were either struggling to make inbound passes or can't play defense to save their lives but a season with a team that managed to win 73, another team that won 67 that didn't even made it to the WCFs, and every team was above .500 in the playoffs...happens to be the worst era:mjlol:

The Lakers never faced a team as good as GSW.

The 08' Celtics might be nearly as good but they did blow the Lakers out by 40 :russ:

3-4 teams :dead:. You mean the deron Williams-Carlos boozer jazz? The Melo nuggets that always lost in the first round? The Mavericks that routinely lost there too? The Spurs post Bowen and pre Leonard with no perimeter defense? The Suns who were mediocre on defense? The thunder, who were led by a bunch of 20-21 year old kids and worse than they were now with no playoff experience yet? The Celtics, who played 3 on 5 offensively with rondo who couldn't shoot and Perkins? The Pelicans led by Chris Paul without David west since he was hurt? You must be tanking. Even you can't think that shyt is true.

Lebron didn't play with a prime shaq for 8 seasons. If he played with a prime shaq for the first 8 years of his career he would have 7 or 8 titles right now.Lets also keep in mind that Perkins did not play in the 2010 finals,so the lakers caught a break.

Let the Coli tell it, him shooting 6 of 24 in Game 7 was ok because it opened the floor spacing for his teammates :upsetfavre:
Nah, apparently it was ok because it was a low scoring game won by defense. If LeBron or curry turn in a 6-24 in a game 7 or shoot 40% on a playoff series, or shoot 31% in the fourth quarter of a finals just a year after shooting 36% in the 4th quarter (against a magic team whose best player outside of Dwight was Rashard Lewis no less), and there'll be so many terrible reactionary threads on the front page you'd mistake the coliseum for the bushes. These are the same idiots who have tried to argue 2000 Kobe who put up 15.6-4-4 on 36% shooting and 20% from deep over 2013 LeBron and claim he got locked up in a finals where he averaged 25-11-7 on 45-37-I think 80 shooting slashes with multiple triple doubles and 37-12-4-2 in game 7.

Yep, sounds about right. I forgot he shot that poorly in 09 as well, but definitely remember the Magic choking away Game 2 and D Fish bailing them out.

Too many numbers and reasonable talking points here though, guess you should expect the customary ":umad: insert Kobe platitude here" posts from our resident Rhodes scholars with no logic or thought behind it:skip:
