They keep the working class fighting with one another while they enjoy tax cuts, paying employees the bare minimum, and maximizing their profits.
The minimum wage should have been increased years ago, but rich men in Congress opposed it because they are controlled by lobbyists that represent the very businesses that would have to increase wages.
They get poor azz people thinking other poor azz people are going to take their piece of the American pie while they manipulate everyone and pay crumbs by comparison to the profits they make.
The price of goods and services has steadily increased over the past few decades whiles wages have remained stagnant. They want half million dollars for some little basic houses now, upwards of 50K for newer model vehicles, and like 1K or more something as small as a smartphone. Those type of economics aren't sustainable, either the government is going to have to regulate prices of goods and services or they are going to have to increase wages to avoid economic collapse.
