Wealth inequality keeps us fighting each other rather than directing it at who needs to be looked at.
As a dude who currently makes $16 an hr, I can't front like it doesn't sting a little to know that I'll basically be working for minimum wage once it gets raised to 15 federally (Only 7.25 in GA where I'm at) but the fact that I even feel that way is because wages are low across the board. Just have to realize that this is a starting point so that we all can demand higher wages going forward once we lift the floor for the lowest earners and so on.
