this why try to tell these idiots to stop framing shyt around fast food. Alot of jobs are underpaid.

Also, you would think when the pandemic hit people would want as many "unskilled" jobs as possible to be available and paying well at any time because you never know when you're cushy little non-essential job is locked down and you need another job a McDonalds.

So who’s supposed to work at McDonald’s when the teenagers are in school:jbhmm:

The median age for fast food workers is 24 and has been that way since the mid 80's. The idea that fast food work is for high schoolers is ancient and I can't understand why people hold on to an ideology that hasn't been true in over 35 years.

No. It's been teens to early 20s. If you 28+ still flipping burgers you're seen as a failure in society. nikkas will roast you and bytches will laugh in yo face.

FYI you can actually move up in Mcdonald's. Assistant Manager, Manager, district Manager, etc. All them positions pay salary.

So what's people's excuse for at least not moving up?

McDonald's District Manager Salaries

You don't know what you're talking about... riddle me this... McDonald's breakfast sales are crazy..... how many high schooled/college aged people do you see working the morning shifts?

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
College kids. 18-22 just working for beer, weed, and gas

If you 28 working at McDonald's for over 3 years with no other promotions or prospects you lost. I was embarrassed working at walmart at 24. Got up out that and got a decent job paying double.

No judgement but I wonder what goes on in the mind of someone at the age of 29 working at McDonald’s. I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are working a second job

$150k a minute? :what:

There are 1440 minutes in a day. He could double the salary of every worker not in C-suite at Amazon and not lose a bit of sleep. Or money. It probably cheaper to do that than divorce his wife. :what:
We did the math to calculate how much money Jeff Bezos makes in a year, month, week, day, hour, minute, and second

Business Insider previously calculated Bezos' annual and hourly earnings using Forbes' annual billionaire's list, published every March, but we've updated these calculations using the latest Forbes 400 list, published on October 3.

This estimation of Bezos' wages are being used for the sake of comparison. A large portion of his wealth is tied to Amazon stock, which can increase or decrease in value at any given time. This calculation is also not reflective of Bezos' exact salary from Amazon.

Shayanne Gal/Business Insider
At the annual earnings rate Business Insider calculated — again, an estimation based on the change in his Forbes net worth year-over-year — Bezos has earned $6.54 billion a month, more than $1.5 billion a week, and more than $215 million a day in the last 12 months.

Per hour, he makes a whopping $8,961,187 — that's roughly 315 times Amazon's $28,466 median annual worker pay. An Amazon worker earning the $15 minimum wage would need to work about 597,412 hours, or 24 hours a day for about 68 years, just to earn what Bezos makes in one hour.

But neither Amazon's recent minimum wage increase to $15, nor the median annual worker pay is close to how much Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos makes.

Bezos' rate is equivalent to $149,353 a minute. To put things in perspective, Bezos makes more than three times what the median US worker makes in year $45,552, according to data by the Bureau of Labor Statistics — in one minute.

So in your personal opinion, there is nothing wrong with a grown man working at McDonald's for over 3 years and demanding $15/hr? That grown man hasn't found a better job or hasn't moved up at all and you capping for him?:patrice:

Don't worry about me. I went from minimum wage to a decent gig all on my own.:hubie: But somehow, someway all these grown ass people in fast food are stuck flipping burgers for 5, 10 years?:patrice:

Back in the 70s nikkas who did labor n shyt would be laughing at these soft dudes flipping burgers complaining. Be a man and get a real job.
There are unique factors in everybody's life that are different from everybody else. Some folks are just lazy true but the vast majority of people want the best in life for themselves. To judge another person as less than because of their current situation that you don’t have all the information about says a lot about you and the growing up you have to do and I say this as a person living very comfortably:yeshrug:
