when I was a kid, I remember seeing businesses all up the roads. All kinds of restaurants, clothing stores, dry cleaning places. Stores my grandmother worked at when she was my age. Now they are all gone, because the black men who owned them sold the businesses and left. To me its there generation that caused the most damage because they left nothing to past down to us, which is the only reason whites are ahead. they have old money. And not only that, they gave us that same old turn the other cheek keep working hard, dont give the police a reason attitude, that has gotten me fcked up in life. I use to apply at every gamestop in the city, and wondered why I never got called for a interview not even once. My grandmother use to tell me * claim that job, keep trying * I didnt find out until a few years ago that I never got in because the gamestops were in the mexican and white neighborhoods, and they only hired... MEXICANS AND WHITES. Even until this day. We need reality from our elders in the community, and they failed us. imo

Only difference is foreigners have no choice due to cultural and language barriers. We had no choice at one point either but integration ended that.

If it wasn't for generations before us we wouldn't even be able to get on this forum and discuss this shyt. If they had done what some of you say they should've done we wouldn't even be here right now

You gotta understand the mentality. Older generations were conditioned to believe black was inferior so of course once they were granted access to white shyt they took it. It says a lot that it was considered progress just to be able to say I'm black and proud

You can also see in my post where I said we practiced it at one point too but it ended due to integration. Black Wall Street is a great example that illustrates my point. Black folks were sick of being treated like second class in a country we built. We just wanted be included. The term white supremacy didn't even exist yet. I'm pretty sure if they had a crystal ball and could see the future they would've done things different but at that point they just wanted to be included in society

There is something to be said for wisdom and experience. I have a much better understanding of things and a greater perspective now than I did 10 years ago and it was the same thing then. Sure some of the things that older people say are no longer applicable to this current climate but that doesn't mean there is no value in it. Maybe I have grown up around radicals but the older people I've been around have never pushed complacency or subservience to whites. They have actually pushed the exact opposite.

Nah, I'm gonna take advice from people who have lived and experienced more than I have, because when it comes down to the basic natures of things and how society functions, not much changes really, it's the same shyt over and over.
