Ok so from looking through this thread even from the initial post the one consistent thing I see is people talking about the mans skin tone and associating it with being soft. Darker skin people have to stop being so insecurewe have too many promlems for this willie lynch shyt. Everything legit doesn't have to be about the struggle. I'm speaking for myself, Pac had mad substance in his work, he has more substance in just 1 album, arguably 1 song than Drake's career. Pac's music was far realer than Drake's. Also Drake is often marketed as a pop artist and that is an issue too. N.W.A even had songs realer than any Drake song with fukk Tha Police. But you can't ignore all the other artists either. Drake's shyt is extremely poisonous, you can go through my top 5 now, Pac, KRS-One, K-Rino, Nas, and the last 1 is a toss up so let's just use those 4... I can show you them having masses of more substantial and positive music than Drake. NO-ONE is asking why can't every artist be Chuck D, I don't think a lot of Drake fans even understand, because you have to explain basic shyt to them over and over again, it may explain why they are Drake fans though. How old are you b? Not even on some hating shyt. I'm in NYC and ATL HEAVY, and I ain't met a college age fly nikka YET that don't fukk with Drake on some level. Not even on some stan shyt. They rocking with at least some of his music, and all got favorable shyt to say about his last effort. He got hits and misses like everyone else.
