Has Rondo? Rondo was the 4th best player on a championship team so should we give him credit for that.
Put CP3 on the Celtics and he's much better than Rondo. Put Rondo on any team that CP3 has been on and they become much worst.
This is how I know you never watched the Celtics past 2008.
In 2008-09, he averaged damn near a triple double IN THE POSTSEASON (16.9ppg, 9.8apg, 9.7rpg along with 2.5spg).

The Celtics made it to the ECSF against the Magic. Keep in mind he did this WITHOUT Garnett.
In 2009-10, he had 2 triple doubles in the playoffs (one in the first round and another in the finals vs the Lakers). He averaged 16/9/6 with 2 steals per game.
In 2011-12, the Celtics became Rondo + the big 3. At that point, it was clear that Pierce, Garnett and Judas were all on the decline as Rondo became "the guy" in Boston. Anybody who believes otherwise is a fool. Rondo averaged 17/12/6 and over 3 steals per game in the postseason.

He had 4 triple doubles in the playoffs and had that memorable 44-pt game against LeBron and the Heat. The Celtics made it to the ECF.
This rhetoric that Rondo never led his team in the playoffs because he was carried by the Big 3 has long been disproven and is pure idiocy. After 08/09, the Big 3 were no longer elite players. From 08/09 onwards, Rondo solidified himself as an elite PG.
@Draje
. The stats and history prove that Rondo became the leader of that team after 2008 (and definitely by 2012).
And as far as CP3 is concerned, if he can't get past the 2nd round with Blake, DeAndre, and J-Crossover then there's no reason to believe he would've ever been able to do so with Pierce, Garnett, and Ray Allen. Dude's a fraud.
Point guards who made it past the 2nd round during CP3's 10-year career include: Parker, Rondo, Westbrook, Deron Williams, Nash, Mike Conley, Chalmers, Jason Kidd, and Derek Fisher.
