He can't shoot or play off the ball

But he can run a squad, get guys easy buckets and stuff the stat sheet

Dallas was playing much better offense with Jameer Nelson and Harris

And with Calderon last year...

Cause they all can shoot

So basically he's a megalomaniacal a$$hole who gets away with it because he's smart and talented :ld:? It's rather :mindblown: how often people mistake being unstable and petulant with being an "alpha" with "so much fire". Naw he's a fukkin' child who throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way and gets off on fukking with people...even terminally ill children.

Yeah, sounds a bit childish

But him telling terminally ill children "no mercy" in a game of connect four has been taken waaaaay too far in this thread

Like their conditioned worsened solely from the L they took in a Milton Bradley game :dead:

Dude is a genius the way he managed to fool everyone; the media, the public into thinking how good he was for all these years. shyt is unprecedented. It's clear he can't deal with with an environment where he's not in total control.

:heh:

You right in a way. My first thought was if he's so smart he'd realize his shooting is the biggest offensive liability on the court. I'm not gonna say the cat can't play though because I've seen some games from him that don't happen if you ain't good whether you in control or not. The dude was out there doing it, but he ain't no more so nobody gonna play them dumb ass "Rondo is so smart let me stay out the way" games.

I had the same experience in high school as him without a teacher needing to give me a fukked up grade. I didn't do homework, had teachers thinking I was cheating, got A's on all tests, slept in class. The teachers tried to "catch" me for 3 years. It stopped after my junior year, one of the teachers had a daughter on the basketball team, she told her mom that I was just that smart. I don't dismiss people cause they're not me. Rondo's problem is he thinks he's way smarter than he actually is and he thinks everyone else is way dumber. Who the fukk needs to play someone in connect 4 to evaluate if their opinion is worth something? That's just dumb.

Has Rondo? Rondo was the 4th best player on a championship team so should we give him credit for that.

Put CP3 on the Celtics and he's much better than Rondo. Put Rondo on any team that CP3 has been on and they become much worst.

This is how I know you never watched the Celtics past 2008. :francis:

In 2008-09, he averaged damn near a triple double IN THE POSTSEASON (16.9ppg, 9.8apg, 9.7rpg along with 2.5spg). :whoo: The Celtics made it to the ECSF against the Magic. Keep in mind he did this WITHOUT Garnett.

In 2009-10, he had 2 triple doubles in the playoffs (one in the first round and another in the finals vs the Lakers). He averaged 16/9/6 with 2 steals per game. :obama:

In 2011-12, the Celtics became Rondo + the big 3. At that point, it was clear that Pierce, Garnett and Judas were all on the decline as Rondo became "the guy" in Boston. Anybody who believes otherwise is a fool. Rondo averaged 17/12/6 and over 3 steals per game in the postseason.:blessed: He had 4 triple doubles in the playoffs and had that memorable 44-pt game against LeBron and the Heat. The Celtics made it to the ECF. :wow:

This rhetoric that Rondo never led his team in the playoffs because he was carried by the Big 3 has long been disproven and is pure idiocy. After 08/09, the Big 3 were no longer elite players. From 08/09 onwards, Rondo solidified himself as an elite PG.

@Draje . The stats and history prove that Rondo became the leader of that team after 2008 (and definitely by 2012).

And as far as CP3 is concerned, if he can't get past the 2nd round with Blake, DeAndre, and J-Crossover then there's no reason to believe he would've ever been able to do so with Pierce, Garnett, and Ray Allen. Dude's a fraud.

Point guards who made it past the 2nd round during CP3's 10-year career include: Parker, Rondo, Westbrook, Deron Williams, Nash, Mike Conley, Chalmers, Jason Kidd, and Derek Fisher.
