Honestly, I kinda got pissed when I read the part about the teacher giving him a D anyway to "prove a point" even though he was getting all of the answers right and knew the shyt... basically fukking the kid over for being too advanced for the class. And this shyt actually happens a lot (happened to me in high school)... obviously it didn't matter in Rondo's life, but something like that could really fukk up a kid's whole future.
Gonna guess he's not a fan of "The Matrix"...

actually its not ducktales at all. i've been done like that as a little kid multiple times. i think i took an a... whoopin from my folks over it and i kept telling them it was the teacher. eventually my folks had to apologize and get at the teacher. but no one was fired. teachers do stuff like that all the time. especially when you're a kid. they cant stand it when you dont have to pay attention in their classes. i mean nothing burns them up more then that.
i had to tell one of my teachers.."hey just because i'm not looking at you doesnt mean i'm not listening to you."
people are different. some people have to get in a super quiet area with zero interruptions and then they can study or understand things. guys like myself and rondo we dont need that at all. shoot the more noise the merrier. I say its like when i've seen some people who draw really well..may bite their bottom lip or twiddle a finger when they are in their groove. they're body needs to do something in order for their mind to relax and get in that groove. thats me too. but thats not most people. most people are just the opposite.
i have a many of D and C or Minus throne on my grades because i was Acing test without doing homework. i told one teacher We (as in the entire class). aint doing no homework this semester. But i promise you all of us will get no less then a B in your class. This was advanced geography in high school. she was feeling it. and next thing you know everyone is acing the test. i convinced everyone the hell with homework. read the chapters yourself at home and we'll be good. they started doing it. and we were all rolling. it got so good to the teacher she start bringing in artifacts from little trips her and her crazy husband would go on. and we wouldnt even go over the regular stuff. but you have to have that kind of understanding teacher. they have to take their egos out of the equation. yes their are some kids that are as smart as you or smarter. so now just mentor them vs trying to TEACH THEM.
listen i'm a laker fan thru and thru. but i dont care. the run drose went on that mvp season was crazy. and he was still super young. i say we let it slide and throw him in anyway. i would give rose a pass for the injury bug.
no one wins mvp by accident.. you dont get worse when you are not even technically in your prime yet.

For perspective, Darren Collison is averaging 16.1ppg, 5.6apg, and 3.2rpg this season. 
I respect D-Rose and he was spectacular in his MVP season (he ABSOLUTELY deserved MVP) but, if his career were to end today, he isn't making the HOF.
