I was just having a convo with one of my side pieces .. I said "can you think of one black actor who didn't take on a demeaning or degrading role to make it big in hollywood." We struggled trying to think of at least 3. Denzel is the only one.

If you think of every successful black hollywood star... they had to do some degrading shyt on camera first before making it.

Wood Harris I think. Probably Idris too since he started so late. Omar Epps, Lawrence Fishburne. He may have had a questionable role but I can't remember. I feel like he may have. There's been a few. It ain't just Denzel.
