You'd be shocked at how many people under the age of 35 are taking meds for issues like diabetes, asthma, cholesterol, thyroid, depression, etc et al.

Edit: i forgot to add, the virus can live on a surface for up to 72 hrs. So if a drop of snot is on your mom's item on her porch, she may still even get it.
