This whole Kanye getting cancelled saga proves Matt504's point.

Who cares tho, question is wat can we do about it?
:jbhmm: Well really what we can do is things like community service and volunteer work you know network and build with black people that are about putting in work in our community:myman:. instead of all doom and gloom and finger pointing in general like alot of the black posters on this website like doing.:mjpls:

Cacs have power but they don't make Black people push thot culture in music and on the internet. They do that on their own.

They also didn't make Black people abandon their neighborhoods, schools, and businesses and push for pro white integration.

Black people did all that on their own as well.

They also didn't make Black people abandon Black Nationalism. Black people did that on their own as well.

And every measure of progress starts with an idea or a philosophy.

Well the dominant idea (or philosophy) in the Black community now is pro-white integration. But there's only destruction down that path. Because whites will always be anti-Black and you can't build among those who despise you and will always tear down what you build.

But that seems like what a lot of Black people actually want. To permanently disappear into whiteness because they're so psychologically damaged.

Either through interracial marriage/childbirth or integration into white neighborhoods.

The FBI and federal government destroyed Black Nationalism we didn’t abandoned it. And black people don’t want to assimilate into whiteness we wanted equal opportunity

We have no other modern example of people who had to contend with a history of 400+ years of chattel slavery and how they recovered from it. We have no idea how long it takes to fully recover from something like that. No idea what it actually takes to treat the repercussions from that. And that is the problem. Not everybody agrees with what to do with that word. It's unfortunate

There's been something of a 'solution' floating around for almost 60 years, breh.....

In a word, a national effort towards the problems of Negro Americans must be directed towards the question of family structure. The object should be to strengthen the Negro family so as to enable it to raise and support its members as do other families. After that, how this group of Americans chooses to run its affairs, take advantage of its opportunities, or fail to do so, is none of the nation's business.

Funny how we can talk all day about the effects the system of white supremacy has had on the black community, but when it comes to talking about them people who were complicit in that system, brehs turn real "boot-strappy" and suddenly it's all up to us, and it's all our fault.

That's a lot of power.

Stop using the word nikka.

Stop streaming and watching ignorant folks like Boosie and these other walking sterotypes.

And stop letting other communities have so much influence in our community.

right now we are at a crossroads with 2 ideals. there's the crowd that is looking at Kanye getting disciplined and all they are taking from it is the same old narrative "jews have power because they own things" vs the people who are witnessing the inherent power in collectivism and learning how to harness it.

Those concepts arent mutually exclusive. For me, its more of an 'if, then' situation.

I didn’t say it’s our fault at all Joos and every other community it a better position exploits us.

That's a strawman and a complete deflection.

No one is arguing that it's all our fault.

Hell, we constantly comment on those who are responsible.....EXCEPT us.

Other communities such as the LGBT and Joo community will not take the disrespect in any shape or form.

Yet Black folks will let these Cac executives of all religious denominations spoon feed us this self destructive filth that we call art.

90% of modern Black entertainers are sellouts that profit off of negative Black stereotypes.

@Matt504

I don’t know @Matt504

But I think we should decide who the mature leaders are in our community and entrust them to control preserve all facets of black culture. Even the pieces we don’t agree with because they still hold value.

This will help delineate between what is substance vs what is destructive. Additionally, this places the responsibility of managing the black image here and abroad, squarely on a levelheaded group of black men and women.

Think museums

It mostly because Cacs of all religious denominations exploit the most ignorant amongst our people for a profit.

They let the word nikka be used freely but would never let the Jooish slur or the word fakkit to be deemed culturally acceptable.

It's sinister these Joos and Cacs are exploiting our under educated.
Nah, that’s not on them, that’s on us. Their people won’t allow you to go around using Jewish slurs and nothing happens. Meanwhile our people go harder to defend USING our slurs than anything else.

We sometimes forget our power. The collective buying power of black people speaking with one voice gives us a seat at the table, but we never ever speak with one voice.
That's because we are consumers rather than manufacturers in a Capitalistic society. Our 'power' isn't based on our capacity to create anything, but, to buy from those who can.

:wow: I held up the black and grey paw reading this post.

Sadly fukkery, acceptance, and misunderstanding our dire strength in numbers will always dictate the direction that we need to go. Just imagine one day, black folks realize self worth and strength in numbers. Putting aside our differences to make a dynasty. Building up communities and telling these cacs to kiss the hairy end of the black ass. Enlighten the youth and make them realize that struggle is further proof that god loves you (Word to Lupe). Stand against fukk humans like Kanye who said the "slavery was by choice" shyt from the get go. Matter of fact, yank Kanye by the collar and make him realize that you are the same fukking man that gave us The College Dropout and Late Registration.

You broke boundaries of allowing slef conscious and black empowerment to the mainstream. How fukking dare you fumble the message for clout and foolishness.

WAKE THE fukk UP!

Perhaps, but I've been noticing there's a distinct way a lot of people are approaching this subject. If you see it you see it.
