nah. TI gets his credit. you just want him to get more credit than jeezy & them.

can I make analogy one time?
TI = the furious five
jeezy = run dmc

Nope. T.I. pretty much gave Jeezy and them a lane. T.I. is Run DMC where Jeezy is Mobb Deep in regard to Trap rap.

THEE most influencial southern group, idc about top 3 they laid the groundwork for alot of hardcore southern rap

flows
beats (both the percussion and the sampling sources, and the dreamwave feel of shyt like Porno Flick)
rappin about hardcore drugs

legends. Pat gotta be honored being Pimp and Gucci's GOAT

Nah. Geto Boys, Eightball & MJG, and UGK are more influential than Three Six Mafia. In terms of Southern gangsta rap, Geto Boys paved the way for groups like UGK, TRU, Hot Boys, and Three Six. In regard to Eightball & MJG, Three Six Mafia doesn't have a singular album more impactful or influential to The South than Comin Out Hard. Then you have UGK who pretty much pioneered syrup sippin, which is why they got them for the single.

nikkaz always been mentionin Hustlin in they raps since forever

Hustlin is an umbrella that trappin' falls under, but it's a bit more specific than just hustling. T.I., Jeezy, nor Gucci started it and one could actually trace it back to NWA's "Dopeman".

For now I'll have to concur that. But Toddy Tee was actually talkin about that life too

I always say..that three 6 don't get enough credit for being one of the most consistent rap groups either. They have a ton of classic songs/gems in their collection. But of course some people don't fukk with them because they from the south and of the satan stuff they rapped about. I really didn't take it seriously, but there were times in school were nikkas would question me about having a three 6 cd on me
"You know they worship the devil right?....Why you listen to them?" :scust:

me - :yeshrug: "they dope"
As for as Three 6 having regional classics.There's people across the world that'll say different, but because the Source or the XXL never gave them 5 mics....its not worthy.:stopitslime:

They diffidently had more influence than most 90s-00s rap groups. They're impact was a slow burn that kept growing & growing that eventually exploded years after.

Dj Paul & Juicy J are the godfathers of the trap sound and their sampling techniques were crazy.

their both classics, but most southerners could care less about the war report. just like most east coasters won't regard mista don't play that high.

the war report as well could be labeled as a regional classic.
The difference is that in 97 hip hop was still regional. And the NY sound always had fans everywhere (not saying a majority). fhats why the war report and most east coast albums aren't regional classics. Even though groups like 8ball and MJG and UGK were outselling then but stayed regional.
It's not fair, but that's how it was.
