and lol at bone thugs... mexicans favorite.

bone thugs were the most popular group of the '90s. meanwhile, 3-6 mafia was just a middle-of-the-road group.

youre doing that thing you do again. remember that talk we had yesterday?

Lil Flip had a bigger run than E-40?:what:

by far

and without flip, the texas d*cklicking that a segment of this board participates in, wouldn't exist.

does e-40 rank higher on my all-time list? sure but that's a whole nother discussion.

lol @ bone's impact not reaching as long. like half the radio is running with their style still.
EDIT: i see that youre trying to give 3-6 mafia credit for that too now. and according to you, the rap-singing chit is suddenly a product of f*ckin 3-6 mafia of all people. youre a clown.

lol @ bone getting lapped by 3-6 mafia's quality. yall are making me not like these dudes. 3-6 mafia had some nice albums but they never made a classic or great album.
and the last album they made that was worth a dam was "sixty 6, sixty 1" which was dwarfed by the btnhressurrection album that year.

i think it was just a coincidence.

cuz there were other groups doing it too. plus, even the ex-mo thugs that are dry-snitching on murders & assaults, are saying that bone came up with their style on their own.

besides, @StillNotSoft got 3-6 looking funny in the light with that brotha lynch post, that these 3-6 mafia stans have completely ignored.

you brought it on yourself.

if you don't want this type of attention, then stop doing f*ck chit.

i f*cked wit lil flip more.

he definitely had a much bigger run too.:manny:

its probaly hard for them to admit Triple six name may be inspired by a notorious pedophile(Sicx:francis:)....they dont want to talk about Brutha Lynch because his skills is unquestionably better than every member of 3-6,and he got classics too....plus as a producer he is every bit as genius if not more than Paul and Juicy, yeah he a beast with the samples too:myman:

On the underground tip he was the most popular horrocore rapper of his era, definitley waaaay more popular than 3-6.....so popular that Priority was quick to scoop up other Northern Cali acts affiliated with Black Market records(the label Lynch was signed too)....Master p was one of those artist,TRU originally was being pressed and distributed by Black Market Records.

Which is why you see Lynch worked with P and his artist,as well as handled some production....why is this relevant?Because i believe in this thread its been said either Master P was inspired BY 3-6,or that 3-6 was heavily inspired by him.

We'll Ive pointed out the similarities with Brutha Lynch and 3-6....lets say the similarities are just coincidence,by proximity its possible, and more likely P was influenced by Brutha Lynch and Northern cali and not 3-6 mafia..

Its funny how 3-6 stans love talkin bout "its just a coincidence:whoa:" if you bring up style similarities between them and Bone, and I'm bringing Brutha Lynch into the convo....but here we are in 2016 and yall wanna credit them with any and everything:mjlol:

Ima tell yall lil nikkas like yall told us,maybe its just a "coincidence" and not influence at all:sas1:

No, that poster said

"Actually he's been cranking out albums at a rapid rate for the past few years. He's got his loyal audience in the Bay and he keeps them fed. And he's managed to come with hits and keep himself relevant the past few years as well.

He's released 12 solo albums, a double album with Too Short and an EP since 2010 "

And I just mentioned another rapper who has continuously made music, yet nobody notices. E-40 does have a knack for popping up on popular hits currently though, similar to Busta and Luda, so I'll give him props for that

Yep, albums and mixtapes steadily since his last major label release

a knack?a knack:childplease:?40 is one of your favorite trap rappers fvorite rappers, undoubtedly if they in they 30's and old enuff to know better....thats first of all,so him showing up on they record and them willing to be on his aint just a coincidence:comeon:

Second of all lemme get this right playboy?you tried to play 40 by sayin you didnt know anybody who bought his albums since 2001 I believe was the year....meanwhile 40 has 3 gold albums between 2005-2010 as well as other succesful albums after that, that still produced big hits and sold well considering the push.....you got the nerve to downplay 40,butninnthe same breathe yall will sit here and cite some magical ressurgance of Juicy J:mjlol:

How many copies did Stay Trippy Sell?nikka had every big name rappernin the game on that bitxh didnt he? Whos been on bigger hits recently?whos had bigger hits recently?i know "Choices" was one of last years biggest anthems:jbhmm:....had every rapper in the game in the video, just showing love:mjcry:

Multiple big names making songs inspired by Captin Save a Ho,both becoming hits:pachaha:

If Juicy had a "ressurgance" what the hell has 40 been doin these past 10 years...and considering how irrelevant Juicy was as a solo artist, lets keep it funky,he had about as much of a ressurgance as Titi Boi. As impressed as I was, that shyt looking light now since yall got me lookin at it closer:mjpls:

You sound awfully bothered. Does E-40 not have a knack for being on hits, way after his people thought he was dead? That is a positive thing. If you took the time to actually comprehend my post, you'd realize we're in agreement. As a matter of fact, if you've seen some of my recent posts in the Booth, you'd realize I very well have compared Juicy J and 2Chainz' previous resurgence....so....what exactly were you trying to accomplish in your post, other than me giving you an opportunity to post smilies?

BTW, E-40 has 1 Gold album between 05-2010, and that's 2006s My Ghetto Report Card, at a time when people actually were buying albums. I'm also pretty sure Stay Trippy's 1st week sales total E-40's last 8 album sales.

Man Troy had a moment

I thought he was going to capitalize off of it and turn into a run (a long ass run) but he flamed out

His music still gets mad love and admiration until this day..

ball street journal sold 450K,thats close enough,Revenue Retrieven sold 350K in 2010....back when everybody was still buying albums right:comeon:?thats ghetto gold if you didnt know, and they will be gold if they not by now...Stay Trippy on the other hand:mjlol:

i still already deaded the bullshyt you was tryna pull by saying wasnt nobody buying 40's albums since 2001?Not to mention that bullshyt Lil Flip comparison....dont try to be slick by playimg humble now,you humble cuz I made you that way:ufdup:

You definitly was being slick with that "knack" shyt as if 40 was on these songs on some "luck","or "right place right time" shyt....nawl nawl nawl,40 is relevant in terms of making his OWN HITS,and musically by being at the forefront of a sound....aint just a "knack" for poppin up on people shyt as if he getting label placements,or he got the same manager as all these other nikkas....cool if we agree now,but lets agree you was talkin shyt before:sas2:

If they got that "triple 6" shyt from anybody...it was from Ganksta Nip/SPC...he/they had a DJ/Producer named "triple 6" NIP used to always shout him out and namedrop him in songs

Listen to the beginning...

both Paul & Infamous named Ganksta NIP/SPC as one of their primary influences...Lord Infamous outright said NIP was his favorite rapper...and Paul & Juice would sample the living shyt outta NIP/SPC's music in the early-to-mid-90's...and they put his name in the Mystic Styles album credits... so put 2 & 2 together...

Zdsxaqd.jpg

I doubt they even knew who Brotha Lynch was in 92-93...never heard them once sample his music...or even mention him...and Paul & Juice sample every got damn body...if you ain't been sampled Paul & Juice...best believe you ain't shyt...they even sampled their enemies like Squeeky, Zirk & BONE right in the middle of their beefs.

they dont want to talk about Brutha Lynch because his skills is unquestionably better than every member of 3-6,and he got classics too....plus as a producer he is every bit as genius if not more than Paul and Juicy, yeah he a beast with the samples too:myman:

I feel you

I feel like E-40 has stayed relevant longer than Flip tho. Who has cared about Flip records since that joint with Game over and Sunshine on it:mjlol:

Maybe he's still killing it underground :yeshrug:which is totally cool:ehh:
