The new CBA ruined the thunder...here's a small market team built a contender pretty much purely through the draft...what pretty much everybody deems the "right way"...but because of the restraints of the CBA, were put into a position where they simply couldn't afford to keep their own homegrown talent

just gotta agree on the Lamb and Perry should have been playing since the beginning of the year. Lamb especially.

Brooks talking about "there's only so many minutes to go around:whoa:" but Fisher came in and got his like he was there from day 1:smh:

Lamb and Perry have good games in the few they actually got to play between their trips to Tulsa, then Brooks gives his "Lamb is a great shooter and we're going to get him stronger during the offseason" talk and "Perry is a special talent, he's going to be with the Thunder for a long time" talk then benches them for what feels like a month between games:upsetfavre:.

Thabo was injured and Martin was too but he just played Liggins in both of their places or increased Fishers minutes(not this playoffs Fish, the one that was stinking up the joint:scusthov:) instead of obviously playing Lamb. Perry got a lil run when Ibaka went down with the chest contusion but Brooks mostly just raised Collison's minutes instead of just letting him get comfortable and make his mistakes to learn.

just gotta hope they finally get their shot like Reggie eventually did(he was also getting sent to Tulsa) next year. and Reggie should have been getting minutes earlier than he was. Brooks should have pulled the plug on Maynor sooner. But hey, he obviously has the job now.

and whoever we draft next year is getting sent to Tulsa too:to:

Harden wanted to be the "man"...

He isnt like manu who is about the team...

Regardless if he signed or not,he wasnt going to be happy about his role

He just wanted to get paid what he's worth; had nothing to do with the team. Did you ever hear him bytch about his role with the Thunder?

he did complain about the amount of shots he got after the game they won again Miami in the finals:yeshrug: Fisher and Perk had to get in his face about it.

other than that, not much that was made public anyway. he did say a few times he'd like to start but if they were winning he'd be cool with coming off the bench.

you do realize james harden played like shyt in the finals right?

you do realize that a serge ibaka type player is harder to find than someone who can do what harden did for okc right?

you do realize that if they kept harden and got rid of ibaka marc gasol/zach randolph would average a combined 60-65 ppg in this series right?

the harden trade was great....if memphis wouldnt have traded rudy gay to the raptors okc would have had the 6th pick in the draft this year.

yeah, i get what you're saying and coming from but they could have atleast waited until the trade deadline or kept harden throughout the year and done a sign and trade deal

just kind of seems like they panicked badly.

They tried to tried him for Bradley Neal and the wizards declined

They prolly could have moved him for a good enough pick to grab Andre Drummond....that's what I wanted them to do all along
