No, I did not specifically say that anywhere. Go ahead and try to quote where I specifically said "people said Kobe won alone".

First, you falsely insinuated that I had said that.

Then, I showed you that the logic of their statements implied it, which is all I had ever done.

Then you turn around and act like I had to defend a specific statement I never made, that only YOU have put in anyone's mouth.

Typical Kobestan posting. He says something he thinks is true, then 10 minutes later he's quoting his own statement as if it were a demonstrated public fact when his mouth is the only one it's come out of. :dead:

Then he says, "Like the usual putas, you just make some shyt up hoping it will stick thinking you won't get checked on it." As if he's not the one doing exactly that at this very moment. :dead::dead:

The best part is, he'll either:

A) Not realize it, because he's a Kobestan
B) Realize it but double-down anyway, because he's a Kobestan
Lol, as if there is a difference between saying it and saying, " im using kobe stan logic". So where are these people who said Kobe won by himself with thier logic? "I've never been a proponent of the idea that one player can win a ring by himself.".

You mean like:

When Shaq left , Kobe beat their ass 4-1 in 2008 with 29/6/4. What about that?

Kobe beat their ass 4-1. The Lakers team didn't beat the Spurs, Kobe did.

I wouldn't want to compliment someone who kicked my ass throughout the playoffs either.

So Kobe kicked Duncan's ass, even though he never covers him and Duncan averaged a 25-14-4-1-3 against Kobe's teams in the playoffs, which is as good or better than what Kobe was doing. Again Kobe getting credit for the team's wins as if he had beaten Duncan on his own.

Similar to:

What's there playoff record again ?

So Kobe is 4-2 vs Tim Duncan in the Playoffs

Are we really pretending kobe was not killing spurs every chance he got in playoffs?

Tim the cuckold still salty because The Shooting Gawd owns the spurs in the playoffs :umad:

Again, it's Kobe killing the Spurs, Kobe owning the Spurs, etc.

And those were all just on this thread.

And this shyt goes down all the time, when anyone uses simple ring-counting or Finals records as the means for determining how great a player is. Both of which are frequent here, most often in Kobestan.

It's logically invalid unless a player can win by himself.

As long as the team matters, then posting things like "6>5" or "Lebron can't be great if he's 2-4 in the Finals!" without context is sheer stupidity.

Of course, I'm repeating myself, but you didn't appear to understand me the first time.

Timmy's hurt :lupe:

I don't see the quote :dame:

The Great One said how he feels, why would he be sad about not sharing the court with a lesser player anymore?

I heard you was traveling around the world slap boxing all the greats like Left Hand Larry, Booty Man, Hassan "Newport" Diggs while looking for the grandmaster :lupe:

can't hold it against Duncan for being honest. People always say they want that old time competitiveness back, well duncan has never cared for any players that weren't his teammates so you can give him that.

I don't know why Kobe would be sad to share the court with Timmy:manny:

Booty Man? That's them up north Sing Sing dudes.

Why can't Timmy fans be friends with Kobe fans? We don't hate Timmy breh, he practically family, 10 rings and 13 appearances in the past 20 seasons combined :jawalrus:

Not to mention the two GOAT coaches :win:

Spurs already did s tribute video for Kobe. Duncan was in it. He's not gonna say the same stuff twice and he's just focused on the next game and the possibility of a 6th ring

@Dankster you keep moving posts. Everyone isn't saying the same thing, keep things in context, but go ahead and eat. Oh...

Your head must be spinning from having to move these goalposts so fast.

So now that everything you claimed I said, you're left with saying that because I apparently didn't comment on some random unrelated thread that I likely never saw, that proves something about this argument?

This is called "grasping at straws".

Just admit that you were wrong in every assertion you've tried to make, and move on.

(I do remember head-to-head matchups coming up a couple times in threads I participated in. One was comparing Durant and Lebron, and the other was about whether Kobe could shut down Lebron defensively. Both were full of context as hell, and neither was this infantile "I had the better team so I must be better than you!" crap.)

" im using kobe stan logic". "I've never been a proponent of the idea that one player can win a ring by himself.".
No grasping at straws at all.

So point out where I have contradicted myself by saying otherwise.

Your current point appears to be that I didn't speak up and comment in some thread that may only exist in your imagination.

:what:

Moving what posts? Your fellow Kobestan the one making the BS claims, I'm just defending myself from imbecility.

The only thing I ever said is that propping up a player as better than another by comparing head-to-head records with no context is logically invalid.

I held that same point the whole time.

You might have taken a stray in there you didn't quite deserve :lolbron:, but the thrust of the argument was on point and valid.

edit: Nah, never mind, I reread what you said and you deserved it. :manny:

I roll dolo. Don't mix me in with Kobe stans (salute them though, they keep these boards alive!):pachaha:

I'm making my own points and the point is Kobe's teams (whether as leader/sidekick/both) has kicked Timmy's teams (whether leader/sidekick/or both) asses in the playoffs. There is no denying this. Is there? The wins and losses combined with Kobe's numbers are there.
