Tim Duncan is a pf, who can play center.
They were calling Pau the "best big man" in the league, the distinction of being the best center was owned by that corny nikka Dwight. The Lakers lost to the Celts with Pau at the 5, they won with him at the 4, nobody was calling him the best center in the league bruh, stop it.
Kidd a GREAT offensive player
Pau played the bulk of every laker center minute from the moment he got traded to LA to the season before Bynum was traded...up until then him and bynum barely were on the floor together, a couple minutes each game at most...and the lakers almost exclusively ended games with a odom-pau line-up...Pau gets called a center ALL THE TIME, just nobody cries about it...well other than to say he's a soft one...only in the case of Duncan is "center" treated like it's some kind of bad word or slur..Pau's just the wrong example to use as a "bu bu but nobody calls him a center" prop...

Yeah, I get that...but like I said, to be honest it's just a worthless distinction based on nothing but semantics...semantics that only matter in this arbitrary "best PF" argument (which makes it all the more sillier, as Tim is one of the best bigs period...throwing a fit over people considering him a center for no other reason to than to hold him over Chuck and Malone, like being the peers of Kareem, Dream, Shaq doesn't do that alreadyThe point is he was listed a center 4 years out of his whole career. When he won MVPS, when he's been 1st team ALL NBA he played at POWER FORWARD next to a center. You are arguing against facts and its not really a debate. Its only a debate cause people wanna diminish his accomplishments(i.e Karl Malone). Malone wants to be recognized as the best PF. He just shytty cause Timmy came and crush the buildings.
I didn't say he was a great scorer, I said he was a great offensive player. He couldn't shoot but he could score when need and he could run an offense as good as anybody in the history of the league.
WHY DOES IT MATTER?!!?!?!?!??

Not a goddamned thing...Timmy's game has been essentially the same, whether the random body you throw next to him is randomly considered a pf or c...and it's a game that's most closely that of an traditional center...looking at dude's game on the floor, arbitrary ass meaningless "pf/c" distinctions be damned...and calling it what it is, isn't diminishing Duncan
Tim is just a big man![]()
Sounds like that copout shyt to me![]()
