Only time ive seen Duncan without pop as head coach was when him and bron led US to BRONZE medal and dude quickly quit on international play. Took Kobe to bring the US back to respectability and for that Duncan can never be ahead of Kobe. Lets not act like international play didnt expose TD

I'm surprised at how Duncan gets a pass for his 2005 FMVP, while Kobe haters try to say Kobe is undeserving of that 2010 FMVP. Manu was the best player in that series imo and was more deserving of FMVP in 05 and needed a bail out Robert Horry classic to win the series. Duncan is and was great, I know Kobe has always been hated, but Kobe's postseason success>Duncan regular season success, and longevity wise, its Kobe without a doubt. Kobe has been clearly better than Duncan since at least 06? Dudes need to let the Kobe hate go. Kobe's resume, achievement, stats, are almost all better than Duncan's. Kobe been at worst a top 10 player since 2000, Duncan was averaging 10 ppg losing to a 8th seed team in the 2011 playoffs. Now imagine if that same scenario happened to Kobe, you wouldn't hear the end of that. Duncan hasn't been the best player for the Spurs in what 5 years now? I know yall hate on Kobe, but its Kobe>Duncan.

Shaq was dominant, but let's not act like Kobe's stats weren't damn near identical with his during the run . Nobody was going to get MVPS or finals MVPs on the same team with Shaq.....NOBODY
