It has very little to do with "Oh it's Timbaland". It's his reasoning, which he explained. It wasn't some vague cosign. It's clear why he fukks with Drake. And it's the same reason I gave Coli posters months ago before this interview came out.

Artists used to actually be a little bit more humble in sharing a vision with a Producer & allowing them to actually produce. Nowadays every artist with 10,000 Twitter Followers thinks they know Music & so working with them in the studio is a headache because you're both fighting to create a Vision. So now a lot of artists especially rappers just want the beat & do whatever they want over them without a producer necessarily directing them & guiding them in the song making process.
Rappers especially these days don't even like doing multiple takes whereas old producers would attempt to get the best out of them but they're being completely lazy these days which is why you see them dropping so many mixtapes in between albums. That's an average of 50 verses being pumped out every 2-3 months mixed with Touring, Video & Photo shoots, etc. So the music is where they take the hit in quality...
