i know he did and every artist's career has highs and lows but i want to believe bruh still got it in him to produce music that's ahead of it's time like he did in the 90's. i been listenin' to old timbaland produced songs all mornin' and i'm wonderin' if bruh can make a comeback like he did in the mid 2000s with them justin timberlake and nelly furtado albums. because bruh was a genius with the beats in the 90's, it'd be nice to hear and see timbaland do it again for a 3rd time

i didn't even bother checkin' that recent mixtape he put out after i heard that song he featured on monica's new cd where he sounds like he's imitatin' future :mjlol:

Times caught up and surpassed his music. I'm being as objective as can as a Neptunes stan.

i know, bruh. shyt hurts :to:
it's like, i don't want to believe that someone who was so far ahead of the game as he was, has finally fallen off
not when the music he made decades ago is still ahead of the game

He was nice back in the day. Timbaland, Aaliyah, Missy (didn't really like her rhymes), & Ginuwine were a great musical clique.

Saw a recent picture of Timbaland and was shocked to see that he is not the solid, built, and muscular guy anymore...but a man with a donk and birthing hips :palm:

He also wifed an Aaliyah-look-alike. Creep factor on 1,000

Really the issue is consumers' taste. I am shocked that Pharrell after all this time still getting songs on the chart.

I would advise Timbaland to simplify his music. Max Martin is a beast with like 23 billboard hot 1hunna number 1s and doesn't have a distinct style. He needs to make music to surprise his fans like that's Timbaland!?

yeah
i think he really needs to rethink his sound and try to craft somethin' different and new
i don't want to ever hear him soundin' like nobody else, because he was always the leader, never a follower

when you simplify his music, i think of the beat he did for petey pablo's "raise up" because it wasn't anythin' complex yet it was far from lazy and it worked :whew:

probably one of his most underrated beats too because it's one those i hardly ever people go crazy over but probably because when you compare it to other hits he's produced, it's rather typical timbaland but still miles ahead of the next nikka :wow:

this shyt still sounds 1,000 times better than anythin' on the charts right :lawd:

Every Producer has their time friend ....

Even the GOAT Quincy Jones had to submit to time ... And he understands music theory on a higher level than most of our hip hop favorites

oh i know, i guess i'm caught up in nostalgia listenin' to these old tim produced classics
i just don't want to believe that bruh ain't got it in him
he was a genius with flippin' and pickin' samples and turnin' them into somethin' great

Unless he goes deaf, i cant really say that..

Very few albums are made these days with the quincy jones approach...

nikkas barely use live bands anymore in the studio...

If quincy said this bassline is off key, i fully believe he knows what he's talking about..

i want hip hop and r&b timbaland back :mjcry:

his r&b stuff will be fine....I heard some of his monica stuff and it wasnt bad..honestly, i might really check it out more in-depth

there is no lane for his style of hip hop though right now...

timbo has never been big on low-end bass and 808s..And thats where the game is at right now...His style works with nikkas who rap in a traditional format...

The south is all about rattling the speakers..

that monica stuff he did was bad, least to me anyway

i think there's a lane for him so long as he can come with somethin' fresh

rattle the speakers, you say.... timb's drums and beats have done just that

:whew:

man I was just bumping that Playa album last night (RIP Static Major):blessed:

idk if there's room for his sound anymore.

I don't think he's finished though. Someone mentioned Quincy Jones but that nikka old as fukk. He was still kicking in in his 50s and 60s though.

Timbo can still produce bangers.....look @ his work on the latest Pusha T album
