I really want to say Zack Greinke, but I expect an argument there.
Outside of that Cy season, he's more like a #2 than an Ace, some years he looks like a 3. I'm not looking at advanced metrics but the guy has a career era close to 4, with a 1.25 whip. He's only K'd 200 twice, but the way people talk you'd think he's done it his entire career.
Either way, the guy is gonna be paid like an ace.
Again, i expect an argument and a better option to be named.
