A luxury car is more than style. Out the factory same year it's no competition. Closest non luxury brand to high quality was the VW phaeton and the Passat 2002-couple years back when they were just like Audi....then they dipped quality, dipped hp, and made it look tacky.

If the gap closed compared to luxury cars it must have been yesterday. But the gap has been closing over time...but 10yrs ago it was night/day across the board.

Part of the reason why I just DO not really pay for music. I'll pay for your merch, pay to see you, pay for anything else. But this is a pipe dream for many small artists.

Music isn't something you should be doing to get rich. That's what fukked the game up.

So what should be doing to get rich? Playing a sport? Being a surgeon? Creating a new app? You can literally apply that logic to almost anything. When you do not pay for music it is the engineer that is fukked. That engineers and writers are not getting that tour money. And with people on 360 deals, yes suits are getting some of that tour money too unless they are super indy. I have no idea what you and @Buckeye Fever are talking about.

I said the features in luxury cars are typically better which they are and as far as the safety I don't think there is much difference. A Benz or other luxury cars may get some safety feature a little earlier but it almost always trickles down to the other lesser cars. Seriously its probably not much big stuff safety wise that's on a luxury car that's not on a regular car. Not that people really care about that stuff big time anyway cause the safety stuff that is there is pretty good now.

Because the chances of making ANY money doing music is slim to none. Same deal with sports.

Being a surgeon...if you made it through school, you are GOING to make money. You make an app, you are GOING to make (some) money. Its a fundamental thing. There is literally NO way for everyone to get paid doing it. EVERY surgeon is making money...you cannot say the same for musicians, because the infrastructure isnt there. On second thought, its IS there. It just isnt there to assist or pay the artist.

I tell people the same shyt with trying to get their kids in the fukking NBA. Sure it MAY happen, but the chances are so low that putting ALL your eggs in that basket is folly. So trying to be a musician for the SOLE purpose of making money is just as dumb. Now if you love the music, and the passion is in your shyt...I hope you can succeed, but even then its rare.
