because his fights are entertaining

cotto, mosley, ortiz marquez de la hoya etc

i know u aint comparing that to the cat fight i saw on saturday

A lot of people would disagree with you on the Marquez and Mosley (after round 2) fights being entertaining. But those people don't appreciate Floyd's technical ability and complain about his non-finishing, just like how you're not into what GSP does as a wrestler. A lot of cats who wrestled in high school and college love what GSP does.

The contrast is the physically Floyd isn't bigger, faster and stronger than anyone he faces. For a lot of us the fact that GSP is all of things makes it frustrating.

Take Bones, same general Greg Jackson initial game plan but somehow he almost always ends with a finish. What is the difference?

Floyd may not be bigger or stronger, but he's definitely faster. Or at least his reflexes are far superior to all of his opponents. It's what makes his style so effective and practically impenetrable.

I don't think GSP is stronger. Condit, Hardy, and probably Koscheck all had more power in their hands than St. Pierre. He's not bigger either. Since he's been champ the only fighters he's battled that were of equal or lesser height were Penn and Koscheck.

as long as your landing punches/combos and you are not holding and doing nothin all fight, boxing fans are pretty much entertained.

no ones tryin to see 2 man roll around all day landing pitty pat punches

And that's where you're wrong. There's a lot more to combat than throwing punches.

Other than a potential Anderson Silva matchup what other marquee matches are out there for George.

Johny Hendricks. I'd also like to see him fight Demian Maia.

I'm skeptical of how interesting a GSP-Silva would be. It depends on the weight. At 185 it's a terrible mismatch. At 175 GSP might have a shot. I'm far more interested in Silva-Bones superfight, at any weight.

How can you sat he isn't stronger when he takes them down at will :usure:

That's fine but he should stop lying about trying to finish people.

I understand GSP gotta hype his fights but............ lmao at that "a$$whooping" he laid on Diaz last weekend that was supposed to retire him (again).

GSP's gotta be the least feared champion right? Any of his challengers gotta know they always got that moral victory in the bag, talking about "he didn't kick my a$$, I hung with him for 5 rounds, so I'm still top 3 WW". I'm not gonna include BJ Penn because dude is a LW who has success at WW.

Anderson Silva talks alot about whats best for his health and his family too. But in the octagon he's TKOing fools.

GSP gotta stop holding himself back. His thinking is the less offense thrown, the less chance he can be countered or get caught with a lucky punch. That's just part of the game, I don't get why he let that hinder his offense to such a degree. He trains so hard, he should put more faith in his offense than in the odds he might get caught.

GSP's strong, but his takedown success has a lot to do with his conditioning, technique, and timing.

That what I mean by bigger faster stronger or basically a better athlete than everyone he faces. When you have that advantage which the UFC, his coaches and everyone mentions...............not finishing fights is :stopitslime:

As long as the PPV numbers stay high and he wins fights as dominantly as he does, I don't think he cares about finishing. Floyd Mayweather feels the same way.
