What makes this such a disappointment for Republicans is that, save for Bush Jr. after 9/11, EVERY President since like WWII has taken a major L in their first mid-term. Republicans barely gained any ground and actually LOST a Senate seat

The recent Supreme Court decisions shook a lot of people. As will the current decisions in play. It will be interesting to see how the “apolitical” Supreme Court members rule on affirmative action, medicaid, same sex marriage etc. given this outcome.

Yep it's pretty much been a given and even Biden knew it. You could see it in his eyes he was hoping it wouldn't be that bad. This shyt is turning out much better than expected for Democrats.

Thankfully she beat Lee Zeldin that man wanted to make Alison Esposito (a Mexicac) who is a former NYPD cop (with no political history) his lieutenant governor.

She's got Manhattan and BK to thank for that. Because the other county numbers were not good.
