last month, me and my girl were coming back from texas and when we go to the parking lot at the airport to get my car, my car won't start up.

I remembered recently I had replaced the battery and opened up the hood and, found a pair of vice grips in my trunk. turns out one of the battery terminals wasn't on tight enough, so I used the vice grips to tighten that shyt up. had my car started within 5 minutes. my girl was looking me like 🥰 as if I discovered the secrets of building fires. :russ:

That's funny.

My pops was a truck driver and he showed me how to work on engines and brakes, so when I went to college my homegirl friend needed her brakes fixed and she was broke and she asked me could I help her. She was a nice look chick and I was like yeah no problem, we went to autozone and told her what I needed and she bought the stuff for me and I fixed her brakes.

She said she would give me some money, and I turned down the money and told her just to get me some WaffleHouse. I fixed her brakes and she got me Wafflehouse and little did I know that fixing her brakes turned my homgirls girlfriend into my 1 year fukk buddy lol. My homegirl was like how you change my friend brakes and now yall are having sex lol

I just bought one, should be here today. My neighbor ran his on it and it’s the grille shutter. Looked it up and I can probably replace it myself but will have someone take a look first to see if it can be repaired or not.
Never had to replace one of these. I've been a gearhead for 25 years. Never really messed with modern trucks, could explain it.

Took my car to the dealership cause the engine was making noise. They said it was a $2500 repair just for that issue not to mention other things they found. Was looking at almost 5k in repairs.

Told them to drop it off the lift and I’ll take it somewhere else.

Local mechanic fixed the major issue and one of my struts for $1300 parts included.

Never let the dealership do repairs unless it’s under warranty. They fukk you

this site has a lot of video showing how to do some repairs.
I've learned a little over the years from youtube. :manny:

I can at least change my brake pads and rotors and a few things under the hood. Change my pads and rotors out over the summer. But brakes are one thing that when you do it yourself then you see what other people charge, you'll think it's a scam. :mjlol:

What's the best bang for buck to get tighter turns at faster speeds.

Get a road force balance and alignment. It depends on your car. The best bang for the buck is to lower your car/alignment/balance/high speed rated tires/and if you want more turn in - dial in some negative camber for your fronts. That's how most drifters set up with more negative at the front for scandinavian flicks and whatnot.

For an overall tighter suspension, not knowing what kind of car you have... polyurethane bushings offer that, but the ride quality will suffer.
