my disc kept rubbing the caliper , I was thinking it was the Wheel.
You can check if your wheel is true (not warped), set your bike upside down, like you're doing maintenance on it, fully release/unhook or remove your brake, and spin the wheel. If it wobbles from side to side then you just need to replace the rim. If it stays in a straight line, you just need to adjust your brakes. If the shoes look good, then you can manually adjust them, or if they have a lot of miles, just put new ones on.

Only thing wrong with my car is that I need wheel bearings. It’s loud af over 40 mph. It’s an old car but I only got 64k miles on it. You think I’ll be good to drive it like that, or should I just get it fixed?

Front or back? And what kind of car, first thing it's gonna do is kill your tire tread, like a bad bearing can be the equivalent of driving 10x the amount of miles you normally would. Then on top of paying for the bearing replacement you gotta buy another tire shortly. I'd take the streets and avoid highway driving if you can before you get it fixed. If you do too much high speed driving with it the axle, hub and spindle can break from the metal heating up friction welding itself together......ask me how I know:mjgrin:

:snoop:I drive a 2011 chevy hhr and had the lower steering shaft replaced.

as soon as I hit the road I got an error code that said "SERVICE ESC"

I go back to the mechanic and he used his scanner to erase it. nothing.

he tried multiple times. nothing.

I go to a second mechanic. he used his scanner. nothing.

:dahell:what can I do to erase this code?

Check engine light came on right before my annual inspection/registration renewal

:snoop:
It’s prob nothing… if the check engine light is a solid yellow you can still drive the car but get a obd scanner and pull the code.. now if the check engine light is blinking don’t drive the car or turn that shyt on that’s means it’s a major issue

Looking for a new used ride.

I have a Toyota Avalon with 200k miles but the A/C is going so I need something new by the time it gets hot in ATL again. I’m going to keep it tho. Plus I have a Kia that my lady drives.

I don’t drive often so I want something nice for under $10k. The past 3 years I’ve driven less than 30k miles.

I want something that looks good with tint and maybe black wheels mods. Needs Bluetooth.

Thanks. Good to know. It’s an 02 Camry. It was my grandma’s, but she left it to my cousin. It only had 40k miles on it when he got it, but he drove it really hard

What yr is your car? You can drive them old shyts hella long. The only issue is the state u live in might want a smog check.

If thats the case, put spark plug spacers between the oxygen sensor and the cat and it will trick the smog computer into passing
It's a 2012 and yeah Georgia is a smog test state. :mjcry:

I have an older Mercedes SUV I'd sell you for under 10k. Has like 140k miles.

I thought this thread would be a good idea because lot of nikkas don't be fukking with the Showroom or whatever the shyt called. Also because I wanna know if anyone has ever driven on a bad Catalytic Converter? :russ: I think mine is bad but don't want to replace it because the shyt is dumb expensive to do. I get mixed messages when searching how long you can drive on a bad one. Anyone dealt with this?

I'm pretty good with cars, so I can help with some shyt ya'll might be going through with your whips as well.
You should be able to find one at a junkyard or worse case get it straight piped. What car are we talking about?

If thats the only issue, u should probably look into fixing that. A Toyota can last hella long if u don't abuse em. Keep that fluid changed.

U may just need to get your system recharged. Where u quoted a price?

Maybe u just want something different. I been lookin at used Lexus myself.
