This is a very manageable situation IMO. WTF is he spending all that money on? Humble yourself and move to Minnesota for a bit. Cleanse yourself in the lake. Sell all the cars and costume jewelry. Get a basic phone plan and stop livestreaming your bytch made outbursts. Man up and fix the situation

Minneapolis is a sleeper town and the cost of living is quite sustainable here. Def a place a person could rebuild at. someone of his income for sure could

Yet anytime someone makes a thread about being frugal you nikkas get mad and swear they just broke. If Tyrese were frugal and wasn't trying to stunt he would already have enough money saved up to never have to work again.

Exactly,I made this thread and most who posted it in it were okay with the debt the average succesful black person immediatley puts themselves in. And most were okay with it if you had the money, but thats not how wealth is built.

So you guys aren't okay with rappers buying expensive chains, but are okay with lavish weddings smh.

Gucci was just an example and obviously can afford it for now,but the average black person who is first or second generation with a good job, absolutley don't have it like that. Soon as we get some money,or meet a partner,we go find the biggest house or get the best cars we can afford on those incomes.

its a sad but typical story. black people need to realize we need to start not just living within our means, but we need to start living well below our means as we are incredibly behind in terms of financial independence and literaracy.

and smh,Tyrese already said he was broke. I wouldn't count on TMZ being accurate, they dont really mind being wrong when it comes to lower tier black celebs.

People when they get a pay increase immediately start upping their life standards (buying new cars, upgrading to a bigger house, eating a higher, more expensive quality of food, travelling more, etc.) rather than staying at the level they are at and tucking money away. I see it with friend of mine that have recently jumped a few tax brackets over the past 3-7 years and even experienced it myself the first few times I jumped up in tax brackets. I'd like to think the need to do this wanes after a certain amount of income (say $250-$500K) but I've rarely seen it.

People have some sort of need or desire to constantly jump up in life standards rather than just being content where they are. Maybe its that most people are truly miserable where they are to begin with...

People never learn what is enough for them. Making more money can become a revolving door. The more you make the more expensive your tastes get and the higher the expectations become. Mo money doesn’t mean mo problems. Mo money means the same problems mo bigger.

He's not as bad as Johnny Dep

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/how-johnny-depp-spends-his-money-2017-2

Dude has 14 houses and pisses away 2 mil a month

Johnny Depp is in a waaaaaay better position.
Yeah he wastes money on a buncha stupid shyt he doesnt really need...but those 14 properties are straight liquid assets...and in some cases they can probably be sold for more than he bought them for...and those insane amount of rare collectibles, vintage cars and art that he has... appreciate in value...and he makes...has made...and will make...a shyt ton more than Tyrese. Johnny Depp is probably already back on his feet.

That said...you can't take it wit you when you gone brehs.

Hollywood will fool you. Wasn't there a big article about a studio exec talking shyt about Kevin Hart some time ago? He wanted 3 million and they were acting like he is greedy. So imagine what small time Tyrese was pulling. Just because these nikkax be in these blockbuster movies don't mean they're coming off clean
While you're right they weren't talking shyt about Kevin Hart's movie fee (I believe they gave him $3,000,000 for the film). They were talking shyt because he wanted an extra $1 million if they wanted him to promote his shyt on his social media. I think the better example would have been Terrence Howard being forced to take a paycut when his contracted originally stated $5 million for a sequel (he got $3.5 million for the first). They tried to force him to take only $1 million for the sequel.

Kevin Hart wanted 3 million for a tweet not for a whole role :skip:
At the time he was making $3-$5 million a movie. He wanted an extra $1,000,000 for them to use his social media to advertise the movie.
