Forgot this was coming on last night, but got in just in time to see the main event. I thought the match was good and yea the ending was pretty predictable, but it came off great on tv imo.

:gladbron: @ fans throwing shyt in the ring during Bully's promo on some WCW shyt

 @ Hogan's facial expression when he realized what had just went down.

The only thing i would've done differently is have Brooke turn heel too and be the dominant female in Aces & 8's.

Are people really complaining at Bully winning the strap? :wtf: he's easily been the best developed character and the most interesting thing in TNA over the last 2 years and actually seemed to re-commit himself by transforming his character, getting in shape and putting on good matches... he deserves it. I can't wait until Thursday brehs :lawd:

TNA stans comparing bubba ray dudley to the Rock :wow:

Its comparison created by stating he is an unfit world champ in 2013. A lot of them shyt on the rock for being stale and uninspiring in the ring. A lot of them also stan Mark Henry and celebrated when he beat orton for the belt. You cant praise one and not the other. And watching TNA doesnt make me a TNA stan. Im a stan for the truth. You cant spin the hypocrisy going on in this thread. People shyt on this company no matter what and honestly are reaching with this one. The company does A LOT of things wrong, but this was not one of them.

Why not though?
If it could be done with with the WWE title with Bradshaw in 2004 when he had become a sloppy fat ass why not with Bubba after he has put in actual work to better himself at his profession?

And that reign sucked and ruined the quality that SD had built from 02-04

Yes I am. Vague and unresolved as your response is think about this. We own TNA, Roode and Aries need to be out of the title scene for a bit who else do you put in that slot? I dont know why youre so mad breh. Enjoy the fukkery. Bully Ray as TNA champ will not kill the business

No one is saying it will kill the business. It just wont grow TNA's. But wtf, as long as the 12 of you continue to watch and be happy thats all that matters right:mjpls: And another thing since you mentioned Aries/Roode. Why does TNA always take there young guys completely out of title picture after there feuds are over?

Ohhh.... I see, Ok... I guess that Stan comment wasnt an attack. Even tho it is a popular verbal weapon by many on here. you obviously didnt mean it that way.... so my bad. Nor was vapid. And I'll pretend that you are not trynna talk down to me or flex or anything crazy like that... cuz this is a discussion right?

So my bad, moving along....

There are really no differences.

My comparison was mainly on how they had similar paths (like many others as well).

Both started out as lower mid carders, both were tag champs, both went on the other feds, climbed the ranks and became champs.

I dont see the big deal or issue with a guy like him being the champ when so many others walked the same road no matter how fast or long it took or how many federations they worked. Nor do I see what makes it a big deal that its this year with the whole "but in 2013" thing. And thats not even just sticking up for Bully, recently peeps been saying "bu bu but the Rock is the champ in 2013!!" Whats the problem with that? If they earned it they earned it, I still think its foul Scott Hall never got a shot or a reign.

Oh yea and come to think about it, in 94 when Austin was midcarding in WCW, I just remember that the WWE champ at the time was Bob Backlund.

See you fail to realize this. Austin was already a breakout star with the blondes similar to HBK, Bret, etc. He was already winning single titles around that time and was on the rise before Bischoff, Flair buried him. Compare that to Bully who is a career 10 + tag wrestlers becoming the face of your fed. This is the shyt that low ball Indy's do, not the suppose #2 feds.

wasnt he this guy http://www.the-coli.com/member.php?u=1765 :beli:

But whats that point of bringing him up? Staying on topic. :manny:

Bully has been the breakout star in TNA since he began his singles run, hell for the last year peeps in here been praising dude, some even wanted him Champ instead of Hardy when he was 1st crowned.

I do agree that Roode and Aries should still be in the picture somewhat but you also dont want them to be stale. Bully is the closest thing to a breakout star they got and is on a hot streak. Hes a far cry from the character and wrestler he was in the past. Just because he hasa name in other organizations as a tag wrestler doesnt mean he cant succeed after reinventing himself elsewhere. I refuse to suck off Vince to the point where he dictates what logical wrestling storylines and who should and shouldnt be pushed elsewhere. Bully Ray isnt going to increase visibility, and he isnt supposed to. Hes supposed to be part of a logical booking decision. That is a step in the right direction in growing as a company. And if only 12 of us even watch the show, why does it even matter? And dont even start to assume that tag team wrestlers cant become world champions later in their career. HBK was a tag team wrestler for 8 years before his solo run in WWE, Booker T was for almost 10 in WCW. This is accepted but now because its TNA they cant do it?

And again since you seem to know how to book this better, what would YOU have done differently? The only thing I would have changed is have James Storm be the leader and would never have teased him being in it in the first place

Yeah, you want Aries and Roode in the picture...but they have been. Both guys have headlined multiple PPVs as challengers since losing the strap. Now they're tag team champions...what's the harm?

Several people mentioned that the trash throwing was obv. fake..

it was the correct booking decision.
which amplified the moment for the ppv.
it was like the confetti dropping,....

except it featured a trash throwing.

i particulary loved that part of the turn.
it gave it the type of feel of a complete change and turn.
plus, it worked better than the confetti drop hardy got when he turned.
to go heel and get the title.

this was a great move by tna.
a great work,...
now, that the final piece was turned at the right moment.
at the right time, and the built in legacy and prime players of the 10.10.10 moment and era.
getting swerved and worked to close the door of the past stable angle, with hogun.

real talk....
hogun actually finally suffered a definitive loss as a face....
