He wants someone to come and snatch it up. They still have the rights to March Madness, MLB playoffs, college football games, NHL playoffs, etc.. a lot of things that are higher rated than most anything else on cable.

Someone needs to go ahead and start playing Netflix's music because this is lining up CRAZY for them to come in, snatch up TNT sports, and have an in house sports network without needing to develop it.

I don’t expect either MLB or NHL to stick with TNT Sports after 2028 unless a big streamer or media company merges with it. Idk how likely that is with the Trump not being all that pro-merger.

Honestly, I don't completely disagree with him for the price, but to say that and have his only backup plan be to sue the NBA is NUTS
He should've been throwing money at college sports, F1/motorsports, softball, women's soccer, or boxing. There's ways he could've pieced together a handful of sports to fill the NBA leaving. They could've become the network for niche sports fans or something, but he underbid on purpose THEN sued THEN negotiated a highlights package as a parting gift.
