Will TNT exist in 2035?

I imagine ESPN gotta be salivating for the opportunity to get the Men’s NCAA Tournament when the time comes.

I know the contract runs through 2032 but will be interesting to see where CBS Sports / TNT Sports are by then, and ESPN’s streaming app will or should be comfortable by then with the content.

I think if this Skydance/Paramount merger happens, no chance CBS loses it imo. But, they may need a new partner to team up with and that’s where ESPN/ABC jumps in or maybe a streamer like Netflix or Amazon.

Amazon finna buy it

The studios maybe.... it's the cable shyt that's gonna be gone in ten years tops. Not said in this thread is that Universal is doing the same exact thing with their cable package.

Splitting the companies, he's hoping that it makes the WB/HBO company attractive for a merger and someone else can buy the cable stations.

If you're asking why would someone buy the cable stations, because there's still 5 or so years left of profitability before the bottom falls out. People can say Zaslav is an idiot all they want, he's going to continue making hundreds of millions off all of this while people type behind a keyboard

Zaslav is the WOAT

Dude takes a $46 billion dollar company, merged it with a $20 billion dollar company, and managed to turn the new company into a $25 billion dollar company on the verge of ceasing to exist within the next decade or so

Gutted one of the most potentially lucrative streaming services with a trash name change and removing content that YOU OWN from it for no good reason

They’re taking down most legacy animation so I can't show my Lil cousins, Nieces and Nephews the fire I grew up watching on Cartoon Network and Boomerang

WB Games Studio is in the gutter, you got properties like the Arkham series and MK at its lowest possible reputation

Fukk this dude

Word shyts been a fukking mess since the merger.

Went to rewatch Westworld and they sold off the rights :what:

They even managed to fukk up Sesame Street :dead:

HBO Max was goated, now shyts not even mentioned.

Movie scene a mess. Games a mess.

And it’s only been 3 years since the merger. So much damage done
