Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
It looks like Entry Level is out of the picture.

What level of a job and what salary should you be chasing for to avoid being considered overqualified?

Right now I believe I’m underpaid compared to the average Masters degree holder and I’m currently slowly applying to more director positions right now.

Yea I really don’t get by what they mean by overqualified. These job listings should be like the government and post the minimum required qualifications.

Well you haven't told us what job title and/or description you applied for where they told you that. So we don't know either.

AFAIK, a master's degree will be considered as 2 years experience. And the education will be at a higher level than what a B.S. student would typically have/know. So you probably need to consider jobs that require 3 to 6 years experience.

Thanks brother. Now what about skills in those jobs that you might know because the jobs you had in the past didn’t require them?

Is there a rule that says you need your Masters on your resume?

Leave that shyt off of you think they will discriminate against you, and put it on if you think it will help you. By the time they ask you what the gap in your career was for, you already got your foot in the door.
