I wish I went to a HBCU just to be around more black people that are going places . Don't see that often in Cali . However, I don't know if the education would be better than some of the community colleges here alone. Add to the part of out of state tuition vs being a CA native and going to a PWI for the same, if not less. A lot of questions .


I envy a lot of you brehs who were able to grow up with and go to school along have a lot of fellow black friends that weren't on some tip or thought you were because how you carried yourself

My first 3 years were fukking awesome bad chicks galore plus i pledged which made it even worse so I barely slept. It was work, school, party, and fukking.
Then you realize how much you're really paying and the baddest ones are either graduating and in a million organizations and they want someone just as ambitious.

That last year something had to give I had to get on down. Graduated with honors.

My bad they must have went up in the last couple of years its $7,084 still pretty cheap. UCLA is around 12k something.

If possible for you guys thinking about college. Move to Cali go to a CCC, we get priority is CSUs and UCs plus you get in state tuition cost, thats what my nephew is doing now he moved out here from Chicago. a lot of the UCs had Tag programs which gives you guaranteed admission to them if you complete certain classes and have like a 3.0 or something. UCSD, UCLA, and Berkeley dont have those agreements tho...just an option HBCUs are cool too.

yeah it is , but im almost about to qualify for Texas instate tuition . so i was looking at Texas Southern . gonna knock out a semester at this cc, then try to transfer .

Rice is the only school in texas ranked in the top 50.

UC Berkeley is the #1 public school.

I give that everytime i open up my email and have something from a Texas university talking about what thr scholarships i would get if i go..like i would to to texas for school even if it was free
