My tv is only 1080p would going above that even make a difference on what i see?

you can 'downsample' the image from a higher resolution, and it will look very good. but it's something you should think about only if you already have a lot of performance overhead on that particular game. I tend to prefer various forms of super-sampling AA over downsampling

this isn't shyt to worry about yet, but there's a lot of options on the PC...

So y'all tryin to tell me all my shyt is outdated? :to:

bruh.. just to be real.. the 660 aint a bad card, but its gonna be 2 generations old in about a month or two.. the 860 gtx is coming out soon..

its a very solid card especially for the $150-200 price range but if you would of talked to us before we could of found out your budget and built around that, as fukked up we are in your xbox threads, we are pretty helpful in the PC thread

I have the same card, and it handled both those games fine on 'high' (I think both games have a 'very high'/'ultra' setting), at around 40fps

To me that is not handling a game...handling a game to me is everything set to highest settings, physics enabled, maybe adaptive vsync enabled (depending on several factors ), at a resolution above 1080p ( closer to 4k), at least 40fps

I would consider myself an enthusiast however...:manny:...Crysis still looks damn good on high settings at 1080p

So send me on my way, coli master race brethren, what's the first thing I should do after I hook this baby up?
So I did the rating thing on my PC to see how strong of a system it is?
It got a 2.0 :heh:

Would like to remind y'all its Thursday. But rt @MeachTheMonster even tho it ain't the newest out, a 660 is a good card. I still got a 580 in my box, next card will be a 78o ti when that price is cut significantly. Only fools pay 700+ for a graphics card so you done good brehbreh.

(I was gonna say something bout the one but its Thursday)

bruh a 780 TI a month or two away from the 880 GTX will be dropping and will (hopefully.. should be.. at least, going off of previous history of every generation but this mining for coins got me :lupe: ) more powerful + a lot less expensive ?

I wasn't looking for max perfomance. Just something suitable to start off with

From what I can gather the card I got is the best performace at that price so I'm good with that

Hell I almost went a step down so I wouldn't have to buy a power supply :heh:

what.. were you going to power everything with :wtf:

anyway always always always always

dont get it confused for $150-180, the 660 is not a bad pick up, its a good one. Should of just told us your budget first though :yeshrug: and dont know what that guy talking about with Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3, those games are just as dependent if not more dependent on your processor than your video card. Its very possible to get 40-60 FPS on high settings with a good processor on Crysis 3. Which means youll be rocking most current games at 60 fps 1080p high medium-high settings as well.

and @PS4 to be fair, those rankings arent the best way to determine how good your computer is, because they always rank intel products higher than other products.

for instance if I had an intel SSD my score would be higher than with my western digital SSD :stopitslime:

regardless, what you said was on 'high', and not being able to go above 30fps. that's not true

adaptive vsync doesn't effect performance (aside from limiting your framerate to your monitor's refresh rate)

Your link says this...
According to DualShockers, the Xbox One Titanfall Beta screenshots were directly captured from the console’s built-in screen-capturing feature while PC screenshots were captured via Fraps.
The consoles "built-in screen-capturing" feature degrades the video. So this entire story is based on frogshyt :manny:

When has XBox One allowed people to take screen shots is the question :leon:
