My tv is only 1080p would going above that even make a difference on what i see?
you can 'downsample' the image from a higher resolution, and it will look very good. but it's something you should think about only if you already have a lot of performance overhead on that particular game. I tend to prefer various forms of super-sampling AA over downsampling
this isn't shyt to worry about yet, but there's a lot of options on the PC...

and dont know what that guy talking about with Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3, those games are just as dependent if not more dependent on your processor than your video card. Its very possible to get 40-60 FPS on high settings with a good processor on Crysis 3. Which means youll be rocking most current games at 60 fps 1080p high medium-high settings as well.
