The mission is to get black people in which we follow suit i to move out to the suburbs because the ghetto is prime cheap real estate and once nikkas get out to the burbs, white flight back to the hoods closer to downtown areas and raised the cost of everything to keep your black asses 20 minutes away from the city back in the burbs away from tourist and life and stuck in areas where metro buses and trains are run around a certain time to keep your asses away
Yep.

Once black people move to the burbs...they then go to shyt.

And some people in these type of threads can't see the forest from the trees for real.

They say, step your game up. Work your ass off more than what you do to enjoy this new stuff...but most of the black folk in those type of situations are already coming from a financially crippled background so they have no choice to move. And the number of black people that can actually enjoy the fruits of gentrification are eclipsed tenfold by the number of blacks that have been priced out and can't afford to live in those areas.

In all honesty, I really think this country is trying to phase out black people...period.
Except for in sports and entertainment...but even the entertainment industry is bearing less fruits for black people (as evidenced by the whole Academy Awards debacle).
They're already hiring more black women and gay black men over straight black men.
More brehs are unemployed and struggling.
Jobs have been outsourced.
Less schools being built...more prisons being built.
Black people being killed by police and the police face no consequences for their charges.

I dont' want to sound like I got my tinfoil snapback on, and I don't want to sound overtly pessimistic... but you can't tell me I'm the only one who's been seeing this.

Always
probably that all resources will be concentrated in the cities in the future. Suburbs and rural areas have no future...
I agree with this. Especially with the push from yuppies to live the urban life. We have an opportunity to use this trend to our advantage by starting businesses that provide services that the government doesn't. Or better versions of government services.

For example, yuppies took over the food truck industry. Now folks have started prepared meals delivery services and the food cart industry is alive again. Those carts and delivery services are working with schools on food instruction programs and starting gardening programs.

this been happening all over the U.S.

The mission is to get black people in which we follow suit to move out to the suburbs because the ghetto is prime cheap real estate and once nikkas get out to the burbs, white flight back to the hoods closer to downtown areas and raised the cost of everything to keep your black asses 20 minutes away from the city back in the burbs away from tourist and life and stuck in areas where metro buses and trains are run around a certain time to keep your asses away

My friends who i went to school with laugh at me all the time cause i live in The hood of inglewood telling me " man King u a fool living in the hood and dealing with the bullshyt, u need to move out to the burbs "...... i'm like what for?? why overpay beyond my means to live somewhere even tho it might be more safer i'll be killing myself more working 60 hours a week just to pay rent or a mortgage.....

now me and my neighbors are about to eat with The Rams new stadium and money coming to the hood and the property will be more desirable for the wealthy....
I'm in the same boat right now in Orange County. These leasing companies charging $1300-$1500 for small ass studios in Anaheim. And there not even in the good part of the city :what::mjlol::pacspit:. My black ass is staying in a shytty ass studio in Santa Ana trying to stack my funds and learn some Spanish in the meantime. fukk spending one whole paycheck on rent alone :dame:.

They already are.

This heroin and crystal meth epidemic didn't come from nowhere.

This was planned way in advance.

Right now that's just rocking white folk pretty much.. so I don't give a shyt about that. W:skip:

Once black folk are out in those areas...harder drug usage might explode :patrice:

But anyway.. no doubt this shyt was planned in advance.

this is why i tell homies to buy up the hood because
white folks want the city near the central west end and
down town.....it's a future gold mine.

I must say...

The gentrification in Chicago, Baltimore, and in SF/Oakland makes what's going on here in NYC look tame in retrospect (except for Police kicking peopel out of their apartments for nothing).

It's obvious the powers that be are pricing poor blacks out of the city limits into the burbs, or allowing black people to kill each other off...then move whites and asians in IMMEDIATELY.

Then they move there, and call the cops on the black residents like they haven't lived there for decades before they came in.

My question is...what happens when yuppies get priced out?

America is truly doomed.
why asians, you're the second person in this thread that said whites and asian....i thought gentrificaiton was just white

Not surprised by the costs

Lincoln park hosts a lot of rich cacs, and there's a nearby high school that's pretty good too. It's literally accessible to everywhere

Oakland
I grew up Richmond. I live in West Oakland. White people used to be terrified of the west. Now they run it. I talk to the permanent residents of Oakland. They hate the renters because they'be driven the rent up for permanent residents. The non permanent residents typically are:

A) are scared of permanent residents B) are renting until they can move to Berkeley or SF C) buy cheap store fronts and turn them into businesses while not hiring permanent residents of the community. Unless it's for poor paying positions.

Black people are moving to Sacramento, Valleyjo, and out of California. I might move back to Richmond to save some money while I finish school. I love Oakland though.

What part of the west you in? I'm from lower bottom. That shyt turning white as mc donalds butter :scust:

Cabrini wasn't IN the hood but it WAS the hood. Some of them dudes never left the projects or even been downtown even though it was 7 mins away, then you kick them out and force them into the south suburbs and wonder why Dolton, Harvey, Cal City and the Heights so fukked up. It's crazy to walk in some neighborhoods that back in the day were straight up war zones and see White and Asian people bike riding today....

I worked literally across the street from cabrini for years. Saw them tearing the buildings down one by one. Knew they'd replace it with luxury homes. Land is too valuable. It's by the river and in the middle of Lincoln park, old town and the Gold Coast. With all the new luxury shopping being built in that area, this was inevitable. And there's more to come because all the Cabrini green row houses are still around on that valuable land as well. They still have a couple project buildings there still. I'd NEVER live In That area simply cuz if u have a million dollar house, I don't wanna be anywhere near the projects :mjpls:

shyt like what u said about dolton and cal city are reasons I'd NEVER EVER live in the south suburbs.

Cabrini wasn't necessarily in the hood but that's still crazy knowing what used to be there. The same thing might happen around Lawndale like in the 63rd St/ Dro City area.On one side of the street you got what's basically Hyde Park with all the rich university kids and literally a block away you got young money and all the fukkery over there.

Yeah u mean Woodlawn. They are already rehabbing the greystones into 500k homes. And the university is buying tons of land there so they might expand over there also. And the Obama library might be in that neighborhood as well. U of Chicago police force regularly patrols that area also. Another thing is the u of Chicago offers housing assistance to staff that want to move to Woodlawn. It's just a matter of time because Hyde park is too expensive and crowded for most folks. Especially if u want a single family house.

Yessir all that Richton park etc...

the sole reason they sports teams done came up:wow:

I'm really not sure what's next.... Altho I doubt the attempt to gentrify the south side will work it's interesting. Spots like Garfield red line or 63rd King , I can't see it happening. But strong signs are when Starbucks etc start getting built. They did recently open a Dunkin donuts not too far from 55th green line.:patrice:

The reason that Dunkin donuts exist is cuz Washington park will be regentrified. It's near the expressway and walking distance of two trains. And it borders Hyde park to the west. It's an attractive area location wise. And that area like Woodlawn might also get the Obama library.
