Only reason he's not buzzing like he was before is cause in 2007-2008 he was killing every feature and dropping mixtapes. He hasn't released any new material and isn't popping up on every single like he was then because he needed to do that back then to establish himself in the mainstream, he doesn't need to anymore. Wayne's chapter had already been written. Nobody maintains that level a buzz for that long. Wayne next album will sell a shyt load of records still though.

He don't need it. This the smartest thing he could do actually. Dudes buzz was already dropping off , and now he done stepped back. Once he does drop something and it's a banger everybody gonna be like "hell yea, that nikka Weezy back" and everybody gonna be on his dikk again. I can't stand the way that nikka raps now (been a fan since Get It How U Live) but you can't deny the dude has a solid fan base and even us who don't like him will always check for his shyt. His last "real album did some shyt like 300K in downloads the first week and damn near a milli in sales in that same span. Dude will still move untis.
