what if game don't work breh. brady is basically montana + young's career in 1 and some. just think about that.

and give brady/beli that niners roster, pats might never lose :mjlit:

imagine things brady would do with jerry rice. we saw it when he played with randy moss.

montana was great, but NFL has exponentially became more complex and talent pool is insane. brady passed with him seahawks SB.

I don't have to imagine anything. Montana won two Super Bowls before Rice was drafted :mjlol:

What you just said changes nothing. The NFL of today is not the NFL of two decades ago. It is what it is. Brady is the GOAT of this era. If you wanna compare him to Joe then you gonna have to debate it with the rule changes as a big factor and talking point :manny:

People gonna say Brady is the GOAT now but it's different eras. Montana had a career passer rating of 92.3 in the 80s and early 90s where QBs had zero protection. They were literally getting their heads caved in all over the field.

Brady has the longevity in part because he is protected by the new rules. Keep this in mind. Montana was 4-0 in the Super Bowl. He threw 11 TDs and zero interceptions. Not one mistake made ever in a Super Bowl.

If Montana didn't get hurt and the Niners didn't have Steve Young another HOF QB waiting to take over Montana would have probably had that 5th ring in the '94 season or maybe more than that :manny:

Came in to say this. Problem is Joe's career was hampered by injuries. Not one single SB loss and that should count for something. In an era where QBs did not benefit from a league that was designed to a)protect them and b)inflate numbers.

Feel like folk overlook Montana too much.
