Are you telling them about trade school?
We are pushing everything. In Mass, our school has implemented the MYCAP (Career Academic Platform) which is 6-12 grade career and post high school tracking for not only college apps, but building resumes and obtaining trade licenses and certifications as well. We got a Jobcorps recruiter who is semi attached to our building plus we have in the city a vocational high school. We push alternatives to college heavy but the young men, with the exception of some, just aren't interested in even starting the fact finding process.

Hell, our college and career readiness counselor has put together job fairs the last three years with military recruiters being present (a bit ghoulish since our school is 100% SPED). I truly sympathize with a lot of our boys who are out here living quiet lives of desperation and no one gives af until they crash out and we see them on Masslive. But the young men to their detriment, are checking out quietly in large numbers.

It's the thing I highlight all the time. The red pill/incel community have a huge identity crisis. They worship and idolize a version of manhood/masculinity that a lot of them can't live up to or actually emulate. Because in this new climate it takes work to become that man and it's not handed to you just for having the complexion like the old days. So instead of doing the work and adapting to the rules of the game, they want to break the game board. But like you said a lot of their women don't want to have kids with them because they haven't shown them a reason to. You're staying at your mom's crib and aspiring to be a streamer but you want this woman to be at your beck and call while also respecting you and laying down with you :mjlol:
Covid showed me anything is possible. That couch potato strategy might just work.

Do you remember the storage unit saga? :pachaha:

The day I saw the storage unit brotha with that white woman who was willingly struggling with him, it dawned on me that a streamer dude living at home has a legit chance. Especially if he is white given that that breh could pull it off. :ohhh:

The bar really is that low once you leave the internet echo chambers.

Massachusetts. Another thing fukking these boys up, is the parents might get benefits for the kid. They will let the kid drift, only appear in school every 45 days (benefits get cut off if a kid misses 45 consecutive school days) and "graduate " with a certificate of completion. And will let the kid stay at the house till their mid 20s so the benefits aren't cut off. The boys are intentionally coddled or ignored to keep that check coming while the girls are being pushed out of the house and into the job force asap. Nasty work.

Plus they won't allow the kid to work or earn any money so that benefits aren't reduced. shyt is cooked out here with the COL being so high and a lot of jobs up here pay well, but are gate kept af if you don't have license certification etc.

Most women don’t want their cheeks clapped with your parents in the next room. You want her to make you breakfast with your mom sitting at the table drinking coffee? Having your own place shows stability, and responsibility. And when you get that place, don’t have a mattress on the floor, and expect her to be grateful to chill on that mattress, and watch movies.

Maybe more men could move out of their mom's basement if wages kept up with inflation or renting and housing became more affordable. People aren't hitting traditional milestones because they can't afford to. The average age of a homebuyer today is 40. That's 20 years removed from having the stability to do shyt like start a family and raise kids. Who wants to do all that shyt approaching middle age?

But that's a much more nuanced convo. A lot of people refuse and actively champion that they don't vote or participate in the process. Those very people are the ones that hold the folks accountable that determine pay or buying up all these single family homes and jacking up rates. Not even on a federal level but locally people don't elect who is on the state board approving what education kids receive or taking away all the vocation electives we used to have in school growing up. People have to be more educated and engaged in that process too. Just throwing your hands up and refusing to participate in things at all is not the answer. Especially if you're still going to complain about how difficult everything is now

Actually, i don't think housing is a problem. It's a human distribution problem. There are dozens of states in middle America where you can legitimately buy a house for 150k (outside the hood) and within 30min of a major metro.

You could legitimately pay the mortgage on such a property as a single man making a modest 60k. This is before factoring in a spouse. And I don't want to hear anything about jobs being unavailable, because there are lots of normal jobs that pay that amount. This ignores the various remote jobs from the coast which are accessible in these areas.

The issue is that most people are crowding on the coastal states and then complaining that prices are too high when everyone is bidding for the same 600k house

Remember when Fox news talks they not talking about us they are talking about things from a cac perspective

Birth rates low

western cacs are in panic mode
they already going to need them dudes in the front lines in 2026:patrice:

remember them demons think 10 years ahead
And they somehow think if they make it bad for us that we’ll die out and fix their birth rate problem.

How ignorant and evil is that …

Not everyone leaving high school landing a job at 60k especially in less urban or dense areas. The industry there is less diverse if it exist at all. Even at a 60k income shyt is HARD out here. Doing just about anything essential costs, factor in dating and you could understand why guys barely scraping by hold off, some indefinitely.

34. Still live with my parents and yes I’m becoming even more picky. I may never get married at this point. Only because I refuse to be a woman’s back up plan. Nothing against women I just can’t live with myself.

So the only thing that happens now is I become a rich uncle. It could be worse.

I do agree if your put together it’s Christmas out here. And these girls are desperate for any guy with a pair of balls and money.

I was 29 when Covid hit in 2020. Was going to move out but decided to stay home until everything blow over. A year now turned into 5. I’ve saved paid of debt and invested.

Im waiting for the houseing market to dip. I’m mean I’ve waited this long. At least in a few years I’ll get to choose something nice for myself for hopefully a good bargain.
I’m a year or two younger than you but I’m in a similar predicament. I was 28 when Covid hit.

I don’t have a mil net worth like you tho, that’s crazy. I am crossing into the six figure liquid assets club tho. I live at home, I make the most in my house and help my parents and family. Could leave if I want but setting up plans to relocate in a few years

Tomi crawled back from the timeout chair? I figured she was gone-gone after the whole 'reproductive rights' blowup a few years ago. I guess the money is hard to turn down.
