Was working full time at Lowe's slanging Lumber. Had my own apartment. Was living in a college town so I was going out almost every night bringing jumpoffs back to my crib. Just living the bacholar life.

Thanks to everyone who wished me an early birthday. Shout outs to all Virgos, especially those born on September 21st. I suppose it's time I go a bit deeper into my 24.

I currently work a job I'm not too happy with but is one of the highest payest jobs in my area, I'm in school might be in a failing relationship, still trying to boost my skillset so that I can end up making bands in the future. I'm always comparing my progress to others. Just yesterday this dude I knew copped his second BMW. We're the same age. Other folks live life lavishly and adventurously. Others travel a lot. Me, I live a very typical life. However, I appreciate it. I appreciate how dull my life is a lot of the time because I don't have to sweat much. Its easy to go with the flow.

But what I want is change. I want to become a better person. The guy who lifts. The guy who makes lots of money. The guy his family and friends can depend on. The guy who inspires others. I want to be an inspiration to others who think these thoughts.

At times, it feels like I'm making strides to get to that "place." And at times, it feels like I am stagnant. And at other times, it feels like I need to find the exit into the nearest alternate universe so I can see how things will be when I do make it.

Working in my field about to buy my first home.

Nice! You're blessed; It's amazing you were able to accomplish so much so young.

I was working at my first "real Job" at an oil company. Living in a midrise apt....and coping with paying bills. I was depressed as fukk, skinny, no facial hair... and a little later was fukking an older married chick at my job.

So in short: fukkery

Have you changed your situation? Still living in fukkery? And there's never a shortage of married chicks at any job, is there?

Was working on the last year of my Master's.

Probably the last time I honestly didn't have any true, real adult-type obligations.

Congrats on achieving your Masters. It's interesting you say that was the last time you had no real adult obligations. 24 was the last time you were a kid, lol.

I’ll be 26 in november, but 24 was dope.

Life after 20 has been super different every year.

Seems to be a pattern. 20's never slack on interesting moments.

At 24 I was working and pregnant... Yikes!

Congrats on having and supporting your child.

I was a pest. As in I constantly pestered successful people and just asked to talk to them. Those relationships are starting to become fruitful today.

Go out and pester ppl op

This is probably some of the realest advice I've ever heard, thank you.

I just started getting my shyt together after losing everything last year and Im still making progress
Im working on starting a career that will change my life forever

Keep at it. Proud of you.

When I was 24 I was just getting around being comfortable in my own skin. At 22, 23 I drove a lot of people away from me with my bullshyt attitude so by the time of my 24th I got around to wising up and seeing I was the problem. Wisdom is a hell of a drug.

It's understandable. I think that happens to us at many ages. For me it was around 21 I got my act right. Or at least started to.

My birthday is tomorrow too at 24 I was drinking everyday and bangin

Well damn.
Finally got my own place :blessed:

Nice!! Major move.

Turn 24 in january

How's your life at 23?

I was with my first wife. Thought we'd be together forever as she was my high-school sweetheart:pachaha:. Took a trip to Vegas that year. Yeah life was good at 24:ehh:

That's a lot of mental pressure on you. It's good to look back and say it was good.

24 was such a long time ago let me try to remember..

latest

Wake up, old timer. How is your life right now?

At 24 I was in great shape, making money, in my field, on a foreign island, running through foreigns...

I couldn't complain....

Don't peak at 24 though, just keep getting better

Sounds like you had an adventure. And definitely.

Probably my worst year lol...no job, finished university with no idea of what I wanted to do, Moms and GrandMa died the year before, no social life, issues in my family, smoking all day...turned it around (somewhat) by moving abroad

Whatever you do enjoy it, take risks, try new stuff, etc...the 30s come at you fast :mjcry::flabbynsick:

Like someone above stated, I too was getting comfortable in my own skin. My mentality, maturity and worldviews starting really forming themselves, I also started to really consider the serious aspect of where my life was going. Other than that, I think the 20's are pretty overrated.
