ADOS is much larger with professors and scholars who chipped in and vouched, much larger voice....

A good example is Tommy Sotomayor, he's been on youtube for 10 years still on youtube, came out with a movie, no interviews, no news outlets, nothing... he's still seen a troll who mainstream doesn't take seriously.

I think The NY Times ADOS article accidentally stumbled on a gem. I think classism is a big reason for the pushback and the anti immigrant stuff is a red herring for some anti ADOS ppl. I would like to see this angle explored more in depth going forward. Why try to take out ADOS when you can get another group to do it for you. This would all be extremely fascinating if it weren’t so sad.

Well, separating the home makes two people want to do the same thing independently as two people who come together and do something as a unit. So yes, they seperate the black home because it's "profitable" also we black folks are the face of social progression so it makes sense to separate us as a way to...

1. prove racism is a thing of the past by independently promoting all these strong-minded women (black) who are taking charge and getting things done.
2. bashing the men to further motivate the women to either dating out or working harder not to end up like the older generation.
3. Moving everything socially through black folks makes other groups want to follow a certain trend that those in power can capitalize off (the n@gga) for example... it's on TV and it's basically everywhere and discussed in articles that all generate hits and make money.

We're the sole financial driving force behind this country (consumer wise) so why would it not be profitable to get things done and separate black from black...

Classism of course is natural and yes a large part of most movements is people who aren't happy with the current system but that's not necessarily based on money, it could be women, image, cars or socially... it's a slippery slope and yes I agree with you but if you expect any party to address CLASS your mistaken completely, no party is gonna do that since alot of their support comes from poor people who are dreaming and wishing for changes...
