AK47 would be a perennial all defense and potentially DPOY in this era, where people are smarter about his kind of value.
Imagine a wing averaging 3 blks and near 3 stls a game now

He won't average anywhere near 3 blocks and 3 steals any year of his career. Most likely nowhere close to that breh lol.

He's also definitely not averaging anywhere near 20ppg as a rookie beside AD and Kyrie.

However, if they are all healthy I can see them marching to the finals and destroying the rest of the West if they all click together.

AK47 was one of my favorite players for real, but Flagg's mentality and skillset is far beyond Kirilenko's. AK was okay just being a roleplayer offensively and just being there for cuts and open shots. He wasn't aggressive consistently or creating for anyone.

He isnt being asked to turn a franchise around. Kirelenko with Kyrie, what remains of Klay, AD and that C duo is a strong squad.

Many people viewed Flagg as a franchise savior. Some even called him generational. A lot of that died down because the Mavs won the lotto

I don’t think people understand what they’re seeing with copper Flagg and that’s because the ncaa didn’t really hype him up nor did Cooper really care that much to show his skillset- in high school he was pretty much and all around monster but he had to reel it back in college- going to Duke was all about learning the fundamentals and how to “win” the game- he could have made the jump to the league straight out of high school and was sleepwalking through his freshman year and still almost won the natty after being injured- people said “he can’t shoot” yet he shot 40% during the tournament- he’s gonna dominate off rip like LeBron did- because he’s simply the best hs prospect since LeBron
