SF, Oakland and SJ are the premier cities in the bay area with actual nightlife and a host of entertainment options, what a shocker that their rents are high. u needed an article to tell u that though
where in that article does it explain why hayward rent (which nobody here could find on a map) is approaching 2,000$ a month?
and "tech transplants" are the reason why rent is over 2000$ in livermore which is 40 miles from oakland and 1.5 hours from SF right?

1500 for a one bedroom in manhattan had to have been in Washington heights or way deep in Harlem. I pay 2050 for a one bedroom in upper east side and it's tiny in a shytty walk up building

I currently live in West Seattle. You can get a good deal around Delridge and White Center area. I'm not even attempting to look at Admiral District. I know it's out of my budget.
