no way that's AEOM sales are correct.
It was certified 9x platinum (4.5 mill if we going by soundscan's system) in 1998.
It was released Feb 13 96.
Certified 5x plat on april 25 96.
7x plat in sep 96.
Certs are based on shipments, not soundscan. Back then record clubs and mom and pop shops weren't soundscan and neither were some major chains.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is an R&B album.

Lauryn hardly does any rapping on it. If you class this an Hip-Hip album then why not Whats The 411 by Mary J. don't forget Mary spits a few verses on that record; man TLC's album back then with Left Eye on them had more rapping on it.

Eminem is 20% of the list, that includes a soundtrack.

Be white brehs.

PS - Surprised Vol 2 is Hov's most selling - thought Black Album of Blueprint

BP3 was Jay's commercial peak breh, Empire State of mind charted higher than HKL, Run this town was arguably more popular as well, just that by the time BP3 came out, sales were already declining.

Shady's verse on that was classic. Also :dead: @ Shady ghost writing 'nikka' onto Dre's verses :gladbron: Shady had to get it out one way

It would be interesting if Em's reference verses ever leak for that song :mjpls:
