Well Tory is letting the case itself be the official statement. I saw this as more of a bandaid for his career. Because if he went too long without dropping something, even if he was cleared, his career would take a hit.

If he gets cleared, then mission successful, he speaks for himself, he has a classic project under his belt, the fans are still there, and he can begin the process of slowing winning the negative people back over.

If he is proven guilty then his career is dead anyway, but he gets a little help by dropping this beforehand.

I feel like if he was gonna go far enough to make an album implying what actually happened, then he could also just come out and say she stepped on glass or that her bodyguard shot her playing with a gun. I really dont understand why he's waiting for the case when he's basically talked about everything leading up to and after that situation. He was extremely vague when he was talking about the actual shooting, I dont even know if she was actually shot or not because Tory implied both.

I dont understand how it would hurt his case to come out and tell people what happened if he had nothing to do with it, that's the only fact keeping me from believing that he's completely innocent.
